(engl.) Monastery 2: On the Other Side of the Darkness



Inquisitor Baltasar reaches the Gate, which doesn't turn out to be the gateway to freedom. The second part of the 'Monastery' modification offers a different style of gameplay, a different pace, different means of combat and defence than in the previous part.

A total-conversion modification to Gothic II: Night of the Raven by Magical Inquisition Team, is released today.

If Monastery (I) was in the style of a European art film convention, Monastery (II) is more in the style of an American action film, where horror mixes with crime, although here in a Scandinavian manner.

The action starts literally from the first second...

I really liked the first part. It was quite different to any other mods I'v played.
More thinking and not just stupidly following the journal.

Hopefully we can enjoy this mod in english and/or german.

Schaut sehr interessant aus, aus Polen kommen öfter SEHR FEINE Modifikationen - die haben ein Gefühl dafür recht gute RPG zu machen - und nicht einfach durch Masse an Objekten versuchen zu "glänzen".

There's nothing left to save, I also have lung cancer. On the contrary, with the new diagnosis my remaining time has been reduced by half to six months to a year.


But hey, help wherever I can until the last second in the WoG, never lose my sense of humour. I'll always be watching you from down below or up in the clouds.

In this modification I helped with some complex script problems. But Erwin asked me, whether I create this topic on WoG so I created and I share informations.

Feuerbarde needs "Alten Rechner für ein MS-DOS/Windows 3.11/ME System MIT Diskettenlaufwerk.". I found one Gothic fan with this PC, but he wasn't willing to sell it. Last time he regret, when he sold old PC.

Das mit dem Rechner wird nichts mehr bringen, ich möchte die Zeit nicht nur hetzen um Dinge zu retten - ich möchte die Zeit geniessen mit meiner Frau und meine Freude hier in der WoG mit Euch haben. Ein paar Dinge ins laufen bringen die ich für wichtig halte.

Die Schriftart in dem Screenshot aus dem Video ist "Decimosexto NF Italic", mal was einfaches - normal nehmem die Ersteller die exotischten Schriften die man nur finden kann. Die Schriftarten im Logo wären noch interessant, die habe ich nicht aus dem Stehgreif erkannt.

I did not work with zBinkSubtitles up to now. I think there will be someone here in Germany who will do that.
Therefore it would be good to have the material for doing that.
