I apologize. I have researched the issue. This is an original bug of Gothic 3. When you log into the game, vertical synchronization does not work, even if it is enabled in the settings. In order for vertical synchronization to work, you need to turn it off, and then turn it on again.
PU affects this only by the fact that the total number of fps increases with it and the out-of-sync becomes more explicit.
I have compiled a mod for Gothic-3 and the compilation result is different for: G3(orig.DVD)+CP1.75+Update1.04.11 AND G3(orig.DVD)+CP1.75+Update1.04.11+PARU 1.05
Can explain me WHY there are more than 3000 differences in both compiled files? What compilation result can I consider correct when the both files have the same capacity and are completely different?!
I've seen command branches or command routines (etc..) generated by compiling INFO scripts (..or QUEST scripts..) causes a difference in how NPCs behave or react to certain stimuli during the playing of the game. I saw it on test installed Gothic3 + CP1.75.14 + CM3.1 + Update1.04.11 compilled without PARU1.05, and with PARU1.05: https://mediadisk.cz/images/2023/02/13/G3_vs_PARU.jpg My question: what can I think right now? What is correctly? Compilation under G3 WITH PARU - or compilation under G3 WITHOUT PARU? Why are you posting the compilation option - if it's not tested correctly? Thx for answer...

When testing a change, it is always possible that there is a edge case that is missed.
Besides, the change from v1.0.5 is a clear improvement on v1.0.4, where it was definitely broken.
The number of differences in a binary comparison does not necessarily mean that the files behave differently from the point of view of the game.
In order to tell you exactly whether there is a problem here and then possibly fix it, it would be nice if you could send me the two files.

Hmm... I tried it again and the ".bin" file of the G3+CP1.75+Update1.04 compilation - and the ".bin" file of the G3+CP1.75+Update1.04+PARU1.05 compilation, are identical.
I did it using the PARU1.04 (..not PARU1.05..) before, that's why there were differences. Thanks for the explanation, I have no further questions...
After applying the Parallel Universe Patch, volume has decreased music and all the sounds.
It seems that the sampling frequency sound has become worse.
Your patch works great, but I prefer vanilla Gothic III, without unofficial patch. Is there a possibility of you making your patch compatible with vanilla game? What would happen if I used it anyway? Thanks.
...then you won't have vanilla experience anymore anyway? I can't really tell what you want to achieve since pretty much all Community Patch features that are not straight bugfixes can be disabled

No, unfortunately it is not possible.

Haven't tried, but most likely the game would crash.

why would you play gothic 3 without the community patch? you're just torturing yourself with the plethora of bugs in vanilla gothic 3.
Might it be that you lack permissions to write to the Gothic 3 installation dir, i.e. the directory you selected when installing the Parallel Universe Patch?
The error message on you screenshot is shown, when the operation FileCopy("<InstallDir>\FileSystem.dll", "<InstallDir>\Parallel Universe Patch\Backup\FileSystem.dll") fails.
As this operation is only executed when the FileSystem.dll file exists, the only reasons I can think of why the copy might fail, is either that the installer somehow does not have the permissions to create the copy of the file, your disk is full or some other program holds an exclusive lock on the file.
You could try to run the installer as administrator. Also rebooting the computer and than retrying the install might helpf (in case locks are to blame for the failure).

Unfortunately, I have a lot of disk space, antivirus I disabled, and running as administrator I tried many times, each time the same error. I have no idea what else I can do.

You coud try to make a copy of your Gothic 3 installation directory to somwhere else, for example on your desktop. Then try to install on that copy.
Alternatively, you can create a new empty directory someplace else, for example on your Desktop. Then copy the Gothic3.exe from you Gothic installation directory to that new directory. Then install the Parallel Universe Patch to that that new directory. And then finally after the installation finished, copy all files that the installer created in that new directory back to your Gothic 3 installation directory.
Or alternatively, I have extracted all the files from the installer and packed them into a zip archive. Just extract it contents to your Gothic 3 installation directory, and confirm overwriting FileSystem.dll, fmodx.dll and Gothic3.exe, or maybe just rename them before to something like FilesSystem.dll.BAK, so that return to the original versions of the files should you want to do so later.
