Look, i have one little problem with Gothic 3 Forsaken Gods Patch 1.8.0.9.
I download patch on this site and i installed it, but when I get into the game and start a new game the load stop my game (near the end) and show me a window, writes to me in the window Where is Guru ˝ ˝ or ˝Who is Guru˝ Similarly something.

If you know what is the error or problem, please explain.
I would be very grateful because I really want to play this game.
I passed the usual gothic twice and the game is very interesting. Now I would just pass this extension.

You could give us more details, what exactly is the error (where is the guru is not the name of the error, it's just the name of the window)?
Also, details about your hardware/software (what operating system, what video card, how much RAM...)

I have 1Gb Ram, 256mb Video card, 3.0 pentium 4 CPU.



I could play without the patch, but the game has a lot of bugs so I decided to install the patch. After I installed the patch appeared to me a window that says ˝ Where is the Guru ˝? within that window, it said:
Gothic III Forsaken Gods.exe
caused a EXKPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION

I've had yet at the end of the window Shotdown (to turn off the window), and when I turn it off, I'd got out of the game and jumped out the window for the exe that says: Gothic III Forsaken Gods.exe
Gothic3 forsaken gods.exe has encountered a problem
and need to close. We are sorry for the inconvenicence.
And down in the corner of the window it said close.

To give you the most honest hint, ... do yourself a favour and wait for the upcoming patch. The state the game is in right now is close to unplayable.
The upcoming patch will solve many, many problems, it should be really worth to wait for it.

And one more thing for Gothic 3: Would be useful to combine the comunity patch with patch v1.12? Because I see that this patch (v1.12) bugfixes .

Piranha Bytes released their last official patch (1.12) long before Community Patch Team started working on theirs. So, in their patches, they included official patch as well, which means if you install CPT patch 1.74, you will have everything you need to play the game.

You might as well wait for the patch, as the patch will not be compatible with your saves, save yourself the headache and wait for the patch.

Also the CP 1.74 is a collection of ALL the patches, it detects which version of Gothic 3 you have installed and then it installs the patches that you need.

It appears that this is the case on your system. If you have free time on your hands you can test with the previous FG patches (like, backup your savegames first if you have any, uninstall the game, reinstall and put patch 1.0.7 instead of 1.0.8, maybe it will work with that, then try to put 1.0.8 again)
