    My engine.ini file - please comment

    Hi all,

    I have 12gig, core i7 920, GTX 295.
    However as I may understand, a Quad core with 4 giga ram and a 8800GTX would probably have the same FPS than me since the game doesn't fully use all my power.

    You will have however to divide the number I have inserted in the ressource caching by 3 if you have only 3 gig ram (and I am not really sure about that since in any case the game is not taking more than 3.3 giga ram for me).

    Anyway, I have download the high end ini file from the website feature a few links below and tweaked it where I can, I have now with it an average FPS of 27 with no visible difference from the original engine.ini

    If you can try it on your own, tell me how it works for you and comment how and where you think I should tweak it further. regards, inquisiteur:

    Thanks, i've put only the resourcecaches in my ini and now the game uses the duble of my ram than before, and runs smoother

    I have only 4gb ddr3 but it works fine
