I'm playing Gothic 3 as a Black Mage. I've got 80% Hashishin rep, I have Elite Hashishin armor, but I want the Black Mage Robe (not Xardas' one). I thought that the Elite Hashishin is the robe, but when I learned "Improve Robes" skill, the protection was the same. Where can I find it/buy it? I'm just insane

I'm not sure but I think Ishtar would be the place to go, did you try there? If you can't find it there then I don't think its obtainable in the game but I haven't played Gothic 3 for a while wait for someone to come by and in the meantime try Ishtar

There is no way to get a black mage robe in Gothic 3 on a normal way.

Unfortunately, all hashishin armours defined as 'Armour', instead of 'Robe' - therefore the effect from 'Improve robes' perk isn't applicable to them. You shouldn't wait for reception of an Adanos' robe because you can buy a robe of the druid, the fire mage or the water mage.

everything is right Dimus said, the elite hashishin armor belong to the "heavy armor" if you get 60 smith then you can learn the improved heavy armor then you will see a better stats than 100/100/90/20/15.
