bei mir hat sich nur das englische Sprachpaket installiert. Ich wurde noch nicht einmal gefragt welche Sprache ich bevorzuge.

Wie bekomm ich das Deutsche?

Von DVD installiert.

Hab Win7 x64 Englisch. Deswegen hat er es wohl so installiert. Sehr logisch.

Die Sprachpakete sind wohl in den cabinet files. Mit 7zip konnte ich mir die nicht ansehen.

Kann man für die Sprachauswahl kein Menü in die Installation einbauen? Sowas find ich extrem doof.

Ahhh, man kann es vor der Installation auswählen.

what files do you have in ..\Risen\data\compiled folder

do you have just "speech_english.pak" or also "speech_german.pak".
If you also have the german file, then you can change the language in the config.xml in the ..\Risen\data\ini folder.
find these two lines:

SubtitleLanguage="English"
VoiceLanguage="English"

and change them to german

@krist2: I had to reinstall the game with the installer and language mode = "german".

ok, the reason I hade both english and german files could be that I first did as you and chose english, but I wanted german. When I tried to uninstall Risen there must have been something wrong with the registry, because it wouldn't let me. So I just reinstalled it in the same folder but german this time.
That has to be the reason I had both files, so now I can change between english and german if I want to.
It's probably to save space that not all language files is installed. But there should have been an easier way to add a language, or you should atleast been given the opportunity to add several languages when you install the game..
