I've been looking around almost whole the "Valley of minds" area and I just can't find him. I've find all the three minigplaces and the letter about Diaego and two other joined him to move the ore.

Where is Diego?

if you know the gate to the orc town (it used to be guarded by two guard back in G1), go through it and keep on your left. soon you'll see a narrow path on the same left, right as you enter teh orc territory. take this path and you'll see diego sitting on a bench.

You cand find Deigo:
In Gothic 1 outside the Old camp there's a door
wtih two gouards.
Pass the door and you'll see a dead paladin and a path
just follow the pass and you'll find diego.
