How can I get The medium and heavy dragon hunter armor?

They tell something about scrapes! But I can't find any single of it.
And in the almanac in the library too!

You'll need dragon scales, and a lot of money.
And as a word of advise: skip the medium armour.
The heavy armour also needs a stack of ore.

Gestath and Godar can teach you to take dragon scales. Every dragon has got 12 of them and you need 20 for the medium dragon hunter armor. After you brought Bennet or Jan the scales, they sell the armor for 12000 gold.

The heavy armor only requires 20000 gold (and a certain action in the 5th chapter), so you don't have to learn to take dragon scales, if you want to buy it (from Bennet). Ore is also not necessary ...

u don't have to skip it, in g2 classic after u give Jan the scales an pay him for the armor u can kick his ass and rob him to get the scales and the money back > ... oh, u have to pay Garond 50gold/witness, really cheap

You are playing without Notr, right?
You need 5 bottles of dragon blood to be able to forge the (large) ore dragon slayer in the 5th chapter.
Ore dragon slayer: 80 strength, 90 damage, 1h
(you also need 4 ore lumps and 1 raw steel)
Large ore dragon slayer: 100 strength, 110 damage, 2h
(you also need 5 ore lumps and 1 raw steel)

These are the best weapons in the game.
