But without mods/patches.
MfG MaGoth,
Then do it without Systempack and you will notice the game crashes. But when this doesn't happen anymore with Systempack installed, then everything is fine.

A clearer explanation of these items please?
— Fixed mouse control when you use the zoom of the operating system interface;
— Support for the launch of game-exe-files with LAA flag (4gb_patch from NTCore and/or LaaHack from NicoDE), for x64 systems;

If you increase DPI scaling setting, something like that:

Then the game will getting incorrect mouse position and any mouse movement will be like this:

4GB Patch, LaaHack change CRC of game executable file. Earlier SystemPack versions check full CRC of GothicMod.exe/Gothic.exe/Gothic2.exe files, and since 4gb patch already change it, you get error message and then SystemPack doesn't work.

There's any positive benefit when using the 4 GB flag for old games like Gothic 1/2?
-
What does this mean?
— Implemented option to control how the barrier in "Gothic 1" works (option ShowBarrier in SystemPack.ini);
Here you're referring to general crashes or is it a specific, single error?
— Fixed game crashes with the error "zCollisionDetector";
Let me know if I've understood this...
— Kills to an NPC's back puts him into state sDead, instead of animation s_WoundedB;
... when you hit an enemy from behind, he's gonna die directly since it causes more damage?
Totally unclear.
— The restriction for the orc guild to change/sheathe arms has been lifted, will work with a probability of 50/50, as in GEngine;
I actually don't remember that it was possible to save when you die.
— "Save game" option in menu blocked, when hero is died;
This means that now the inventory is animated?
— Animated inventory(section [PARAMETERS], option Animated_Inventory in SystemPack.ini);
With "right" you mean right arrow or right click of the mouse? "Up" I guess is the arrow, isn'it?
1. Open inventory, choose item.
2. Press "LMB + Right" or "Ctrl + Right".
3. To throw item press "LMB + Up" or "Ctrl + Up".
Sorry if some questions may appear stupid, the fact is that I don't know who translated the whole thing from Russian to English, but it's certainly not a good translation in some parts.

— Implemented option to control how the barrier in "Gothic 1" works (option ShowBarrier in SystemPack.ini);
This mean that you can disable/enable barrier in "Gothic 1" through settings in SystemPack.ini
Code:
[BARRIER]
AlwaysON=0
AlwaysOFF=0
DisableSound=0
DisableDamage=0

It's specific crash happens in Gothic 1 in some cases.

When you kill an enemy (humans only) from behind, he's gonna die in proper animation state.
 Zitat von mat-th-ew

— Animated inventory(section [PARAMETERS], option Animated_Inventory in SystemPack.ini);
Right, like on this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRKUSFZLElU

It's a bit outdated info. This should be more understandable:
— When orcs stop pursuit or kill hero, they can hide weapon (put it back to weapon slot).
 Zitat von mat-th-ew
I actually don't remember that it was possible to save when you die.
— "Save game" option in menu blocked, when hero is died;
Unfortunately, this was possible in Gothic 1.

You can blame Google Translate.

Deeper explanation?
- Corrections made so that SystemPack memory *.exe-files are now read from the *.patch-files;
- Disabled odd stream for resource manager;
- Repaired options of F8 key in test-mode MARVIN;
Which sound are you exactly referring to?
- Fixed reverb sound for "Gothic 1".
When you say "test mode" you mean marvin? It's the same?
- Fixed test mode, after pressing F8 to enter Marvin mode you can now "fly" in each direction, not just to the north as before;
What about these?
- Fixed error concerning the functionality of movers and disappearing vobs, sometimes when activated, sometimes on their own;
- Added time management for subtitle dialogues in the game;
- Added option to enable windowed mode with no frame;
Guzz, but are you Russian? Since your English is pretty much good, would you go through this English OP and clarify those items unclear?

Same Question here. Is a 4 GB flag still useful, even with systempack installed?

4 GB flag was never useful for Gothic 1+2, only for Gothic 3. The question is whether it's also useful for old games. Gothic 1+2 don't even use 1 GB of RAM.

This might be true if you play G2 DNdR 'as is' if you play Mods things can look differently. I observed 1.5 GB when playing Odyssse this week.

Thank you for the new update.
If I may, I'd like to make a small request. Can you implement an option in SystemPack.ini that allows players to enable/disable STRAFE while falling?
It is clearly a bug/glitch, but it's such a dear one to me and many players. I miss it so much.
Thank you.

Yes, that's right. I forgot about texture patches like the Reloaded Mod. 4 GB flag makes sense here. But must the exe changed for that or is it possible to add a 4 GB flag option to the Systempack.ini?

Hi, SystemPack has long supported patch 4GB and/or LaaHack(by NicoDE), but render DX11 its does not supports and works with it is not correct.

As I understand right, SystemPack supports 4 GB flag for changed exes, but doesn't add this feature by keeping original exe (if that's possible).

That's an interesting question. There are different solutions for a 4 GB flag? I mean do they change different offsets/hex codes in the exe?
I think the best solution would be to pre-patch the exe for everyone in the PlayerKit 1.08k and Degenerated just needs to make his mod compatible with it.

New features for SystemPack possible?
@ MaGoth
Is it for Gothic 2 possible to implement blocking with mouse button 2, even if Gothic 1 Controls are enabled?
Is it possible to implement Navigation in the Menu with WASD. At the moment only direction keys can be used.
I observed one problem, concerning shields, while playing the Odyssee Mod. Sometimes after a fresh load of a save, fighting with shields don't work anymore, unless I unequipp and reequip the shield.

There is no difference, the same thing.

This is probably problem with overlapping animations. They have to be refreshed upon every game load. But this is rather work for the author of the Odyssey.

1. In the Systempack.ini you have to set "EnableShields=1".
2. Did you also install the G2Odyssey_SystemPack_1.6.exe ?
