i'm playing notr as a firemage and i learned the create rune for storm.but it says i need a glacier quartz and wings of a blood fly.i have the quartz but i can't find wings of a blood fly.i have wings;but i don't know what they are for.when i try to create the storm rune, it says , not enough resources so the wings i have must not be bloodfly wings.any idea where to get them? thanks

You can buy them from a merchant from the upper quarter I think his name is Lutero but you can also find a hunder and learn how to take bloodfly wings almost all of the hunters can teach you that

EDIT: As far as i remember there are wings just from bloodfly in g2 so you should check the one reminded by Drak and me...

Oh yes that's right it is very possible that you don't have the spell scroll razmat it has happened to me too

Anyway, you can find bloodfly wings in the VoMs. There are some lying behind a tree near Xardas' old tower. There are some lying on the ground near the cave where you find Diego. Right across from the cave where you see many bloddflies flying around. And you can find some around the statue of Innos at Marcos' mine.

But it sounds to me like you already have the wings, so either you are missing something else, or you have a bug.

You need to have a spel scroll of the rune you want to create, a blank rune, a lab bottle, these are needed for any rune, and about the wings , the wings are only from the bloodfly , hoped it helped

well gor-na-drak, it did'nt sound stupid.that exactly what happened, i did'nt have the spell scroll.i been try'in to figure this out for quite some time now.i been all over the place . thanks for the help all.the only thing is that once i got the storm scroll.i did'nt even have enough mana to use it.thats one thing i noticed about playing as a firemage , it takes a lot of mana to use higher circle runes.like summon skelos(skeletons), at 60 mana a pop , it takes quite a bit of mana to do even one before having to reload mana.i would rather have a handful of army of darkness.though i'm not complaining , the skelos are some tough mother f r ' s and it's good to have them on ones side.

You can find BloodFLy wing also in old penalty colony, where is Old Camp mine. There is one shrine. Look there.
