Gothic I - Played a fire mage, it was funnier and more diversive compared to swordfighting I had to do as playing a shadow.

Gothic II NotR - Played a fire mage again, from Role-playing perspectives, and again, because I liked the way the combat is as a Mage.

Gothic III CP 1.74 - Finished only once so far, played a paladin, and I'm planning to start again soon as a mage, probably as a fire mage as well, though I think I'll go with Adanos' ending, as it fits my character the best.

Risen - Finished once as a bandit, I'll play it at least once more as an Inquisition mage I'm sure.

To sum it up, I'm a fan of mages in any game I play as long as the magic system is developed enough. It's that feeling of being above-than-usual intelligent and wise in game

G1- Played all classes.. but mostly I played as a dexterity based mage..

G2- Played all classes.. hated the bug where you coludn't be a mage..

Notr- All classes again.. (I've played Gothic Waaaaay to much!!)

G3- It does not realy have classes.. only the Rep Thing.. So.. I pretty much had lots of rep with Nordmar and Myrthana.. So.. Paladin/NormarWarrior/F-Mage
...And then played on Beliar side with hassisins

Risen- I'm with Don Esteban's group..

G2 classic, not with the Notr expansion..
It was a bug or something that made a quest impossible so you could not become a Mage from a Novice.. It's possible that it may have been fixed later.. dunno.

I have no favorite guild. I liked to play as long as possible without joining a guild, as a lonely hunter.

my favorite part was immediately after you join a guild. you get a feel for bein part of it but still have the challenge of hard fights

i'm more of a melee fighter, but i've played all games in the series in each possible fashion and ending...

in G1 i found being a Merc was the best for me

in G2 i went for Paladin for a few reasons, 1st of all the Dragon hunter armours look ridiculous in my oppinion, 2nd, the melee combat + harm evil rune seriously kick ass...and just using Fear on the Dragons makes them easier to kill than a field raider in the first few levels of the game.

in G3 i prefer paladin yet again, one hander + shield + bow...then again G3 isn't half the game G2 was.

In G1 it is deffenatly the Lee's group.. Because Lee was the only camp leader that wasnt a drug addict or a psycho. Also I don't like playing as a mage.
In G2 i tried Merc, but yeah the Dragon Hunter armor looks like thne new Honda Civic [read: Like a piece of crap].. Son in G2 vanilla I sadly have to say paladin. Buti If I remember correctly in NOTR you can join with Greg's pirates and that was a pretty cool camp on the beach..

And thats about all the Gothic playing I have done.. I'we tried G3 a few times but havn't got too far with it..
