Well dude, that is a different thing. Thats not death, that is torturing, suffering, in other words its pain. It does lead to death in those cases you mentioned above, but pain itself is hard, not death.
Well yes, but suffering does contribute to the process of dying. You can't just speak about the very second in which you give away your soul and ignore the whole process that gets you to that.

I agree at some point, but dude I'm trying to explain that pain is part of the life, not death. And there is no process, only cause. (of death)
Anyway I respect your opinion

Yeah, and there is no death without a cause of death. They go hand in hand.

No, I'm a Christian so I don't fear death.

No, I'm a Christian so I don't fear death.
What's that supposed to mean? Is fearing death a sin?

No, I'm a Christian so I don't fear death.
Goddamn Christians don't fear God's judgement the way they used to in the old days.

I don't believe in afterlife so I don't fear it. It is hard to be afraid of nothing.

You only fear what you might loose in life, not the object of life itself as I see it.
If one is rich, he fears loosing everything he\she pocesses to death, the same happens to a lover, or one who loves his family members the same way.
You are afraid of not hearing the same song again, not tasting the same food again, nor feeling the same smell again.
Afraid of not doing all the things you left unfinished, since its part of human self to keep dreaming of goals, some possible, others impossible.
I could say that those who less fear death are aged people. In a very basic way, most of them suffer sickness, their brain and body is not what it used to be, they more then anyone, feel frustrated, life gave them(or not) already it could.
But even those fear it of course, they fear what will happen to their beloved ones more then them, and the unknown factor of death.
Atleast, that's part of what I believe..

feeling the same smell
Wait a minute, is that possible?

Wait a minute, is that possible?
Eheh...In a matter of speech.

Nope. I was actually referring to how Christians hope in the resurrection, which pretty much "pwns" death.

You need to fear life first

I think you meant smelling the same scent.

I experience those things rather like a preferences then fear.

Thanks man. Not really that old, but I am rather mellow, and I always were.

I don't want to die RIGHT NOW, but once I've acquired some notable trophies in my life I know I'll be ready. Every man needs a notable legacy at the least.

Lolol insecurity.
I never really got the point of wanting people to remember you after you're dead. It's not like you'll be sitting on some cloud, watching people from above and bawwwing at the fact that no-one gives a shit or remembers about you.

I think it's not necessarily the fact of wanting people to remember you after death, but more like wanting to have the feeling of having had an accomplished life.
