    1. Download mountlist_packed.zip from [info] Configure Risen’s File System (mount) thread and extract its content into game folder.
    2. Modify extracted mountlist_packed.ini to have "NoPhysical=false".
    3. Create Risen/data/compiled/raw/infos folder.
    4. Install Script_Library and type "library export infos" in the console. Risen/data/compiled/raw/infos folder will be populated with all .xinf files extracted from Risen/data/compiled/library.p* files.
    5. Modify any of the .xinf files as you want.
You can play the game now and it will use your modified version of .xinf scripts as long as you do not delete mountlist_packed.ini file or set it to "NoPhysical=true".

Optionally, you can compile all extracted .xinf files using "library compile infos" command (that produces compiled_infos.bin) and put compiled_infos.bin into new library.p* archive using risenpak. This way your modified scripts will work without mountlist_packed.ini and Risen/data/compiled/raw folder.
    Thanks!
I think I'll need to reinstall the risen data files and try this again, since when I set NoPhysical=false and then exported infos, the Rhobart's weed file was missing (KALVERAMX2B_00528.xinf). So, I copied in the one from the risenup13 along with my change (removed the delete item command). Reloaded a savegame from before I spoke to Rhobart, and when I spoke with him, he gave the same reward without having the weed in his inventory after I knocked him out.
So I then recompiled the files and packed them (no compression) into library.p01. Reloaded the game, and this time, the dialog option to give him 10 weed didn't appear.
Reloaded a savegame from after I had spoken to him (and still had >20 weeds in my inventory), and the dialog was still not there.

Reinstalling and will let you know what happens. I think you've given me all that I need to do this though. Thanks again!

    No.
The Base/Engine/Game classes/objects are no longer available as module exports. All the proprietary code has been build into the application binary - even the "scripts" (which are still exported, obviously due to legacy code/macros/templates). So there is no longer the possibility to use them - one of the base requirements for the Risen SDK...

Hello. I am experiencing some console problems- "Command cannot be executed, No valid script function avaiable". I suppose it may be caused by newest patch release, cuz I did not have this issues before.

    Greetings

    Edit:
That was my bad- I checked it yesterday, so no issues from my side.
    Sorry for that.
    Greetings

Maybe it is the RMDS bug reported by Spawnkiller (1, 2).

I wonder why is Unofficial Risen Patch still not in the mod database of RMDS (or in the forum sticky for that matter), while some redundant fixes are (Ambient Sound Fix). I installed Risen after a while and didn't find the patch immediatly, because the thread had sunken away from the front page. Luckily i already knew about it, but a new player could easily miss it.

Would be Ambient Sound Fix included in Risen unofficial patch?

I don't think so, but you could install the Patch and after that the sound fix.

Yes, but why would you? You can install the fix via ModStarter, just make sure you install it after the Patch

Anyway: Download the fix using the RMDS, it should be placed at [...]\RisenMDS\FanMods. You'll find a folder named "A_Ambient Sound Fix", open it and drag the file in the compiled folder to [...]\Risen\data\compiled. Then rename the file from "sounds.p0x" to "sounds.p00" (IMPORTANT: If "sounds.p00" already exists, rename it to "sounds.p01" and so on...)

It is included in the unofficial patch. A quote from the changelog:

    - Removed silence at the beginning and at the end of some ambient sounds to make them loop correctly.

The following change from unofficial patch has been reverted because it was causing other bugs (thanks to RobinSword for finding the problem):
    Code:
    - During "Follow Taylor!" (and "Follow Kalib!") quest Taylor (and Kalib) address player automatically when reaching training area and player chambers.
The patch version was kept as 1.3 but the date changed to 10th of May 2013. Updated patch files are available in the first post.

This is a mod for Risen 1 (yes also for the German version).

For Risen 2 you might want to check out this.
