Usually all games on Steam already contain lastest update available. Steam version of Risen is no exception and is already patched with official patch 1.10. "Risen.exe" in retail boxed copy of the game updated with official patch 1.10 also shows version number 1.0.95642.

Ok thx, so I will download now the unofficial patch, because yesterday I started a new game and then I read this that there is a new patch.

Hello like the patch, noticed what may be a new exp glitch with the unofficial patch but perhaps it was already present in the game. Caspar in the monastery during the Hemlar's Murderer quest, if you select i have searched the room and Hemlar's body it gives you 25 exp you can hit back without selecting anything else then select the topic again for another 25 exp continuously.

That exploit was present in original game and is fixed now in unofficial patch 1.1.

A small bug with the Unofficial Patch:
Risen patched with 1.10 Official Patch and no mods installed.

Forgot to mention, the bug is caused by Script_Game_Patch.dll, after removing it, exp. display returns to normal.

Thanks for the report, bug is fixed and updated version of the patch (date changed to 25th of August) is uploaded.

Mods that do not change the same game files as the patch should be compatible with the patch.

1) Does it work with the Steam Version ? Probably will if i disable auto-update.

2) Does it work with a save-game or is a new game required? (couldn't find that in the readme)
