Nono, you can download the database and use it from your harddisk, that he meant with offline version. (well, i am quite sure he meant it like that ).

It depends on what version you have! ... as Roi already mentioned, if you want to correct things there, surf to mondgesänge and use it online, in this way you make sure that you have the newest version, and that you save yourself and also Roi some work with already corrected things.

We can´t always make a newer download version when we have updated only some smaller mistakes. That makes no sense. So the online database has always newest version.
I think that we will release download versions between 2-4 times a year.

It's because of youre browser's cookies I think. The browser makes you see the site you first loaded for a faster load time.
