I choose to find Leuvin, instead of beating up/killing Winstan. He says to talk to people in the market and taverns, did that, says Gorn has key. BUT BOTH Gorn & Winstan have vanished!!! Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong??

Gorn should still be there. Gorn is meant to open up one of the houses for you.

You mean Liuven and Winstan, right?

Quite often NPC's appear at a certain place only after you have completed a quest or a conversation. So my guess is you missed something.

Leuvin is inside the boarded up building, so I can't talk to her. I need the key to the back door to get in. Gorn is supposed to lead me to & unlock Leuvin's tower that they have already searched. There is a key in one of her chests that has the key to the boarded up building. (according to the walkthrough) BUT, as stated in the walkthrough, Gorn SHOULD be in front of the locked citidal, he is not there. I've re-loaded prev. saves and done the whole thing over numerous times, each time Gorn disappears. I think I may have a bug.

How do I get the console to work? I've used it in the other Gothic games, but can't figure out how to do it for this game. Really appreciate the help!!

There isn't a console for Arcania, just a cheat menu, some of its options might help you. How to activate it:

Edit My Documents\Arcania - Gothic 4\input.xml

Add before the </Inputs> tag at the end the following code:

<Input command="cheat menu">
<Key code="41" />
<Activation type="first active" />
</Input>

In the end you should have something like this at the end:

<Input command="loot all" >
<Key code="18" />
<Activation type="first active" />
</Input>
<Input command="cheat menu">
<Key code="41" />
<Activation type="first active" />
</Input>
</Inputs>

Save and in game press ~ (below ESC) and choose Tab2
