haha if you're worried why not test it instead? but i'm pretty sure he's wrong, a texure mod can work with any other mod since it's just textures.
ironkeep studios v2.10 works great because i'm running that mod with my mod.

Ok then m8. First i wll install ironkeep mod v2.10, then yours and last the ''real weapons'' mod. Now the problem is with the last mod cause you say that yours works just fine with v2.10.
PS. If im not wrong the v2.10 mod includes Golmar's texture pack, right?

I feel like I asked you this already, but what texture sources do you use? Or is it all shooped?
-
GothManiac: if it has a texture mod it'll probably use my textures because i set the date of my mod to something like 2020 or something, it will always prioritize the latest files/mod. the order you install doesnt matter.
Faby: i'm using my own resources (taken with my canon 500D) and some are modified textures from cgtextures.com - these textures are ok to use with mods or even for commercial games. Actually the Gothic2 devs seems to be using a few textures from this site, for example when i changed one of the stair textures i noticed i had changed it to the same texture (only mine was much higer resolution, quite the conicidence lol)

I'm using this mod, and like the improved textures very much. However, I'm suffering from performance issues. Although my computer can run Risen and Fallout New Vegas smoothly, Gothic II now stutters very much in large spaces, such as when exploring the territory around Lobart's farm.
I'm using Vurt's .ini-file, and would be thankful if you would suggest adjustments I can make to improve performance without reducing visibility distance.
Thanks for your time.

This engine is nowhere near as efficient as those engines, Gothic2 doesnt even have a proper LOD system so it renders stuff in full detail even in the very far distance. You can try turning off Anti-aliasing and lower the view distance.

Alright, thanks.
By the way, did you intentionally choose to remove the option of sneaking into town by climbing the mountain ridge? The mountain ridge can't be climbed now, but you're supposed to be able to climb it, because Lares will comment on it if you sneak into town that way.

ah didnt know that, i'll see if i can find a guide to see where that is exactly and i can put it in.

Hey vurt,
i found some bugs (and other too). Some tree´s float over the ground. Can you fix it?
-
The vine thingies in the sewers look weird, and very purple.
-
it helps if you post screens. at least 1-2 trees will float if you didnt start a completely new game with my mod or reloaded the map (going from one level to another and then back, that will apply my edits).
-
There's something that may give a particularly poor first-impression. One of the first things veteran players do, is to jump down or climb up to the area right behind Xardas' tower where there's a corpse along with some useful items. Now there's a huge tree there that not only floats, but moves back and forth.
