Damn I really thought that Arsenal would kick Barcelona out at 1 - 1 but...
Oh and I was sure that Roma would lose, not by 3 goals though..

@Omid: And I could ask why isn't Inter still playing as good as it did last season?
-
Everyone knows that Mourinho's move to Real Madrid was a mistake.

Because of the bloody trainer. But dude, think about what i said. Read again and then start talking. Sometimes i have a feeling people have no idea what they're talking about.

Why was it a mistake?
@ Nefekto
Why isn't Real Mourinho winning from Barcelona like Inter Mourinho did last season?

I'm not saying the players don't have their merit, that's after all why RM isn't as good as Inter (last year) so far. But most of the merit goes to the trainer, can we all agree on that?

Either that or he could have stayed at Inter. The choice seems pretty obvious.

See you didn't say that at first. You said it was all Mourinho. Individually, it was definitely Mourinho who played the biggest part. But without Sneijder they wouldn't have won. Without Milito they wouldn't have won. Without Zanetti they wouldn't have won. Without Cambiasso, Cesar, Lucio, Maicon, shit everybody was irreplaceable. It was just one of the best team efforts i've ever seen. Wich is why it annoys the crap out of me when someone says Mourinho beat Barcelona. Hell no, there's much more to it than that.

Yeah I guess I didn't express myself correctly. And you are, I take it, a Chelsea fan?

No, i'm a fan of the underdogs and Dutchmen. Arsenal was an underdog against Barcelona, Tottenham is an underdog (sorta) tonight, Chelsea is an underdog to win the CL. I like them all. I want Chelsea to win the CL having never won it before, i want Tottenham to make it far because it's their first time in the CL iirc and i wanted Arsenal to beat Barcelona because Barca is a much better team.
-
What do you think about RM winning the CL? Now with Mourinho at the wheel they seem to be favorites.

Not going to happen.

Barcelona is the obvious winner of CL (I hope I'm mistaken), I really believe that they ruin the European football, soon there won't be any challenge for them, we will just have to guess who will go to the final against them.

Lol are you kidding me? Inter raped Barcelona last year. Another team will rise this time, and if not, next year it will. Barcelona ain't gonna dominate forever. They'll be just another European top-team in a few years.

Not this year, they're not motivated enough for the CL. They're still celebrating the 08-09 season.

How is it Barcelona's fault?

Too bad for Valencia =/
I had pretty high hopes for them.

Didn't see the game. What a shame.

They lost 3 - 1 and they even were ahead in the score.
Schalke is the surprise of the year I guess.
-
I'd say Shakhtar is the surprise, even though I though they'd win Roma the 3-0 victory was still a surprise.
The german teams are quite interesting actually, the only stable team is Bayern and even they aren't doing quite well atm. As for the others they come and go, they change every time. Take Stuttgart for example, they made it to the 1/8 last year and now they're nowhere to be seen, hell they're even on the 16th place in the Bundesliga.
On a side note, Hitler was a Schalke 04 fan.

Shakhtar is a great team, all it's players are talented and young, I don't find it so surprising that they beat Roma nor is it a surprise that they made it so far.
