If i would like to modify the maximum limit of strength in Risen [200] to, let's say, 250, where should i look for the files to modify?

Without having that looked up properly, I'd say that's source code based and thus not possible to modify.

If it isn't, it may be in a template, like in the hero template or something with talents or so.

But even if it would be like that, you hardly have a chance to find out which value stands for what function (without knowing the structure of the templates).

The limit for the strength, dexterity, intelligence is in the file Game.dll.
The problem is that the file is protected SolidShield DLL Wrapper ie file is packed and unpacked in memory when the game starts, so directly edit this file is impossible.

Although there is still a way to lift the limit through file Script.dll:
Download Script.dll - removes the limit of 200 for strength and dexterity.
