Hello WoG Community,

We have, at long last, the official release of our 1.0 patch! The last few bugs on our to do list have been knocked off. There's probably a few more still out there (especially in the exploits department), but we believe the game's core issues have been primarily resolved.

Depending on user feedback and whether any major new issues are discovered, we may release updates to this patch. Thanks for your time and patience, and we hope you enjoy the release!

- Silas will permanently trade with the player.
- “The Weed Mixer” quest can now be completed even if the player kills Jacko and/or his cohorts.
- It is no longer possible to have Mordrag escort you to the New Camp if you forcibly threw him out of the Old Camp.
- Bloodwyn & Jackal will not harass you for protection money after Chapter 2.
- "The Weed Delivery" quest no longer remains open after delivering the Ore to Cor Kalom, also does not close "The Weed Mixer Quest".
- It is no longer possible to bribe Thorus after you obtain an audience with Gomez through Diego.
- NPCs will not get up instantly after being knocked unconscious.

0.92 (RC2)
- Buster no longer teaches Acrobatics after the skill is gained.
- In the "New Souls for the Brotherhood" quest, it is no longer possible to reload the game and continue bribing the guard.
- Bloodwyn will not harass you for tribute if you become a Guard or Magician of Fire.
- Troll Wheel no longer spawns infinite Goblins.

0.9.1 (RC1)

- Gorn should no longer attack the player while in the Free Mine.
- Gates do not become stuck after they have been fixed or set to be opened.
- If Baal Lukor stops following you, simply engage in conversation with him. He will resume following upon exiting dialogue.
- The game will no longer crash in the Orc Temple due to a “missing sound file”. We have implemented a quick fix, with a more permanent one planned later on.
- Camera values have been improved.
- FOV on Widescreen monitors should see an improvement.

Thanks dude does this also fix the bug when Stone won't sell you the heavy guards armour?
EDIT: OK so I downloaded it and installed it on a fresh copy of Gothic and it said Installation failed. I think this could because of either
A) I didn't install the RC version
B) I'm running Windows 7

Hm, weird. The reason is definitely NOT A), but I'm not sure about B).

You might want to copy-paste the "Guard armor" bug into the "Bugs you'd like to see fixed" thread.

I have XP on dual boot i'll give that a try and i'll make a post in "Bugs you'll like to see fixed"

EDIT: How stupid am I, I was so used to XP that I never hit "Run a Administrator" it works perfectly now.

Why is it that i cannot download anything from you guys (from WOG in general)? It just says "Problem loading page". I've been trying to download something for over a week. All the other sites work just fine (i've checked dozens of them), so i don't think that it's related to my internet provider. I'm from France btw.

Have you tried it with another browser? Otherwise maybe strange settings in your security software?

Actually, tried on different browsers and friend's computers (with vista and w7) but with the same internet provider. it's strange, i can download anything except from your site...

EDIT: problem fixed. downloaded with a proxy. it's still odd though...

i playing freely russian gothic 1 and gothic 2 with those patchs the speech is in russian but subs are in english i think it's perfect for me.
however i sad that the CP 1.73 for gothic 3 was for russian so it's not rus/eng so sad lol i want gothic 3 rus/eng too xD bit FG are rus/eng cause of 1.8 patch

^^ Go into your G1 root directory and if the folder ICP is there then it installed correctly
