Ich weiß, ich soll es selbst machen und das habe ich auch, aber um das ganze perfekt zu machen brauche ich eure Hilfe.
Ich muss ca. 10min ein Referat über die Nationalparks in den USA sagen und habe das bisher zusammengebracht. Jetzt brauche ich jemand der mir etwaige Fehler verbessert oder mich darauf hinweist wie ich das besser formulieren könnte. Ich habe jetzt einfach drauflosgeschrieben Ausserdem bin ich nicht sicher ob das für 10min reicht, wenn ihr also bestimmte Infos habt die ich mitreinschreiben kann oder gar Aspekte findet die ich noch erwähnen soll, wäre ich sehr froh.

So, jetzt mal das Handout (Ich hab noch Bilder drauf, aber die lass ich hier weg):

National Parks in the USA

History and intention: -1872: Yellowstone as the first national park all over the world.
-because of campaigns by the citizens, the us government founded more national parks, like Yosemite Valley and Sequoia.
-President Roosevelt founded another 18 parks.
-Nowadays there are 58 national parks all across USA

-organized by the National Park Service, an institution of the US Department of the Interior.
-established to conserve the wildlife
-it is not allowed to do any work in the fauna (e.g..: fallen trees have to be left on the ground)


Sequoia National Park

-founded in 1890
-Includes an area of 3.504,4 km²
-located in California, next to the Kings Canyon National Park
-renowned forits huge trees called Sequoias

a Sequoia is approximtaley: -70 meters tall
-3-6 meters big
-2000 years old

The General Sherman Tree: -85 meters tall
-11 meters big
-biggest perch has 2 meters in aperture



Yellowstone National Park

-first National Park all over the world
-founded in 1872
-located in Wyoming in the North-West of the USA
-Includes an area of 8.987 km²
-renowned for for its geysirs
-Home for endangered animals like wolfs or grizzle bears

Ich wäre echt froh wenn ihr mir helfen könnt. Das ganze ist für die elfte Klasse G8, also Kollegstufe undsomit wichtig fürs Abitur

Aber wenn du über "Yosemite Valley" sprichst, achte darauf, dass du es nicht "Jousemeit" sprichst, sondern eher so, wie man es schreibt - also so wie "Jossemetii"
(ich kann keine Lautschrift :O )

Das finde ich immer recht peinlich, wenn man irgendwas im Referat erwähnt und dann solche "Anfängerfehler" dabei macht - war für mich immer das Schlimmste

edit: Wiki kanns eben doch besser, so ists leichter verständlich: "ausgesprochen „Yo-SEM-i-ti“"

Nowadays anstelle von now. Im Sinne von Heutzutage... Jetzt wäre schon ein wenig komisch hier.

wtf ist f.x.? Du weißt schon, dass die Abkürzung von zum Beispiel e.g. ist? Kommt vom lateinischen exempli gratia.

finde ich da angenehmer, da ich mit popular eher celebs etc in Verbindung bringe. Nicht unbedingt falsch. Kannst auch beide verwenden. Macht immer nen guten Eindruck, wenn man mehr wie eine Übersetzug für etwas parat hat.

Wirklich viel Infos sind ja nicht drin, hoffe ja, dass du da noch viel mehr sagen wirst. Und ich hoffe du liest dir nochma dein Handout durch, Yellwo z.B. geht auf einem Handout gar nicht. Und nein, das is 10 Minuten? Da kannste ungefähr 3 mal neu anfangen und runterlesen und es ist noch nichts passiert. Solltest mal ein wenig recherchieren und dich reinhängen, wenn du wirklich ne gute Note haben willst, selbst das englische wiki gibt so viele infos her, dass man eigtl gar nicht mehr suchen muss...

Mir ist klar, dass ich deutlich mehr reden muss als da drauf steht. Das ist ja nur das Handout mit dem wichtigsten Infos. Ich werde z.B auch ein paar Bilder am PC zeigen.

Wie groß und genial die Bäume in dem einen Park sind, interessiert kaum jemanden, das kannste dazu sagen als Beispiel, wie die Dinger aussehen. Da kannste besseres reinhauen über den Park.

Made for conserving the wildlife (wenn du schon unbedingt made for nehmen willst... Merke dir immer das Lied Made for Loving you baby, dann biste nie falsch )

such mal ne bessere Quelle wie wiki, da unterscheiden sich irgendwie die einzelnen wiki's mit der Größenangabe.
vll irr ich mich auch hier und da ein wenig, ist schon ne Weile her, dass ich mit schulenglisch zu tun hatte und ich schau schon eine weile nicht mehr, wie gut mein englisch ist... also nimm nich alles als ja und amen an. Wie gesagt, lies dir einfach das englische wiki durch und mach dir da stichpunkte, da haste auch gleich richtig gutes englisch noch dazu.
