WernerTWC made a new mod for Risen "New Hero Mod TWC 01"
This mod changes texture and mesh of the Hero. Now he has hair (at last!)

Nice but...

why would we want to play with the same face that most of the NPCs in the game have? I imagine the hero trying to talk to somebody and that NPC replies back to him, and then the hero says "Tell someone who cares."

Well, at least he has a unique face. The hair is the worst part but I just get a helmet ASAP.

We are not on Oblivion level of customisation of a character yet, but we are closing in.

Good point. But since we don't have the possibility to import- export meshes (i.e. a new head modell) we have to work with what's there.

Of course such a little mod doesn't make someone to replay the game only for this mod, ... but it's an alternative for the interested ones out there.

Since your russian seems a bit better than mine ^^, ... could you please post over there that i like his/her (?) mod very much, a very cool improvement to my mod/texture.

This clearly is a must have mod.Good job,you deserve an aplause .This mod is clearly an improvment (never really liked how he looked,but an old hero mod would most probably give me a heart attack )

Hi,

I really love the modded characters shown above.

But is there someone who founds the original (means: the first) head of the hero somewhere in the game files.

I mean this one:

I like to change the ugly current face with the first one, but I couldn't find the needed file.
