Hi, I am having an issue with Eldric. I completed the quest, and Cyrus was supposed to leave. Instead he just stayed right by the cell door.

When speaking to Eldric, I went through the dialogue and he asked me to follow him to his home, but instead, he just stayed in the cell. When I speak to him he just tells me to 'Take care of myself'

Any ideas?

I tried editing Eldric to be at his home, but I think I messed something up with it so I had to reload (I used the goto command but it put me outside of the world) Do you have to edit both the World and Local locations for an NPC to get him to correctly move? Also I only used the location ones (Xm Ym Zm) do I have to edit his rotation and all that stuff to correctly move him?

Don't really remember, but don't remember it being talk to him then him and go. You have to talk back and forth? So guessing the conversations are not over.

If they are complete don't know what happened to your game.

There are no possible conversations to have with him as he just says 'Take care of yourself'

I really need to find a way around this because I am completely stuck in the storyline because of it, and I don't want to start over because it took a long time to get to this point :-D

Are you saying you talked to Cyrus again after talking to Eldric?

You have to talk to Cyrus for Cyrus to leave and then Eldric will leave only after Cyrus does.

I think Cyrus gives you the broken disc at that point and then says he's leaving or something along those lines because Eldric didn't want to have anything to do with him.

You get the broken disc and then talk to Eldric and you both leave.

So did Cyrus give you the broken disc? Until he does Eldric will not leave.

Once Cyrus moves away from Eldric's cell don't worry about him anymore.

The problem is that I got the broken disc from Cyrus and he said 'He would explore the temple' or something along them lines then 'return to the monastery.' He instead just stands there. The only remaining dialogue option with him are to buy stuff. I have the disc in the inventory, and talk to Eldric and he asks me to follow him to his home. He stands up from the bed/bench or whatever and remains in his cell. Now all he does is tell me to take care of myself. The quest is completely broken because neither of them went to where they are supposed to go.

Also, Cyrus is an unkillable NPC, I tried that too :-P

Wondering if Eldric will just appear at his hut or maybe even start moving if you sleep for a bit? ... Probably not but still worth a try.

Did you try starting a fight with Eldric and get him out of the cell, assuming he moves, then run away, to try to get him moving in the right direction?

I did try the resting thing, but not the fight thing.

Actually though, when I attacked Cyrus to try to kill him (assuming Eldric isn't leaving because he didn't) I got to witness an epic dual-invincible NPC battle. Eldric was whooping Cyrus though. Wondering if the same would happen with Eldric.

Anyways I will give it a shot. If it doesn't work I will 'cue sad violin music' start my game over. I will just have to worry about rats all over again

Quite funny. Now will have to do something like that just for the fun of it. After saving of course.

Would be fun to watch for a bit
