As Daniel Oberlerchner, the Brand Manager of Deep Silver, just announced in our forum, Deep Silver is currently planning to release only two versions of RISEN for Europe.

There will be an English only version exclusively for the United Kingdom and another version for the rest of Europe which will include German, English, French, Spanish and Italian. The latter two only as subtitles, though. This means that if you have the non-UK version, you will be asked for the desired language during the installation and can play RISEN in German, English or French - whichever you like.

Update: This statement refers to all countries where Deep Silver directly distributes the game: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark, Luxemburg, France, Spain, Italy, England, Sweden, Norway and Finland. Other countries like Portugal, Greece, Hungary, etc. which a delivered by Deep Silver internationally will also have a multilingual version. Exceptions are Poland, Russia and the CIS states where Cenega and Noviy Disk are distributing the game. It is possible (yet not certain) that these local distributors will remove the international language data from the master.
