the nordmar orcs understand what honor is. ( well, the most of them )
And where did it got them in the end? They were defeated by humans. Honor is the most stupid thing in the world, it's worth nothing and has such a small impact on the hapiness of people.

The Khorinis orcs are just like animals, they are slaughtering every human they see.
A smart move, no slaves means no problems. The Khorinis orcs looked like they actually understand nature and it grands them enough food and everything, while the Nordmar orcs had to rely on slaves for rations.

Well, at this point everyone must decide for him or herself what " good " orcs are like.

I liked the more savage orcs for their strong connection with the spiritual world. Heck, they managed to summon The Sleeper so imo they are more "awsome" then civilised orcs. Also savage orcs are much more powerfull fizicaly speaking then pussy upnosed civ orcs.New orcs, all talk no guts, old orcs, mindless slaughter, mysterious powerfull race, induce fear.

In gothic 2 when I was asked to bring "an orc weapon" to prove my worth as a smith apprentice, I felt really unsure of the task. Just a little before I had bumped into that orc scout in the cavern. nearby and it dropped me dead with one hit. That is an orc.

I have seen more fear inducing creatures in local theme parks dark-ride than the G3 "Humorks".

The uncivilized orcs are scum, the civilized ones are better.
Listening to Orc conversation, such in the Gotha outpost, leads one to believe that Orcs don't much care for humans.
I wouldn't have it any other way.

I like the orcs. Taking down the entire orc camp in Gothic1 was incredible. They are very powerful in my opinion.

Why don't all the paladins, mages, etc.... Stop critiqueing orcs and try unite races like orcs did.... (seekers) Or the humans should try domesticating wargs......... Orcs aren't as stupid as they look! Most of the monsters in Gothic don't attack orcs????? Maybe they're not as stupid like we think.

Orcs finally defeated Robar ( 2nd or 3rd???) the most powerful king!

And orcs learned magic and stuff waaaaaaaaay before humans did. Maybe orcs are mindless brutes............. BUT THEY ARE STILL WINNING!!!!!

Actually, seekers and orcs did not unite because of their love for one another. They are both servents of Beliar, and have you actually seen a seeker, close to an orc? No, you haven't. Why? Because THERE ISN'T ONE!

And as for the other thing... it's actually simple game rules, depending on, let's name it guilds - undead and seekers guild are "allies". Beast, orcs and reptile(or whatever, all the beasts) guilds are also "allies". While orcs and undead guild fight... that is why you do not see seekers, skeletons and zombies near orcs.

Human's guilds(mages, paladins, sheep, xardas, farmers, etc) are enemies with all the other guilds.

And summoned creatures are a whole new thing. They are "at war" with every other guild.

The G1/G2 orcs had a lot of potential. They were a mysterious tribal civilisation with a lot of traditions and a deep culture. The drums, the village, the runes, the cemetery, the rituals, the rings, the weapons, the language, the music, the ulu-mulu: they all depicted an compelx civilisation, a civilisation that i hoped to undersatand better in G3, but i was dissapointed. The g3 orcs had no cultural signature, only the morra and honor thingies. And that was lame. Maybe if the community team decides to complete the G3 story, than they could change, if not the 3d orc models, at least all the dialogues of the orcs.

Well, Maladiq, as you know the northern orcs invaded a foreign land - Myrtana, which was a human kingdom. So it's no big suprise there's no sight of their culture in Gothic 3, they've just won the war and they got bigger problems than integrating their culture into Myrtana.

Not integrating their culture, but at least having one. The only difference i noticed between them and the ore barons was the voice. Besides this, they were just like the old camp elite, nothing more than ugly humans

You've learned the lesson. No matter what's the color of your skin or how hairy and ugly you are but you're a human.

    I don't like orcs in G1 and G2.

They are like brainless retards there.

In G3, Xardas gave orcs some brains and they can talk now and can call others Morra's.

Now i'm trying to finish G3 on the orc's side, although i haven't manage to do it,cause it's so cool to kill them
