Photoshop. atleast I think that most of us use it.

well my curent avatar is 100% home cooked. but for my previous avatar, I riped it of an original picture(Or I think it was) and I edited it.

so yeah. what ever suits you best. I personaly prefer home cooked, if I use some1 elses work I feel like I'm uncreative.

Honestly? Doesn't look that great. The Anubis one was 5 times better. Just my humble opinion. And the frames don't fit with the sig color.
