Hi Melvin, how is the going the mod?
I have a questión, There is already a two handed with one hand mod but it only change the template.... so atributes, ranges, etc doesnot apply for the two handed weapons....
Your mod fix it? I 've understand that your mod change the animation, so, A battle axe handed with one hand is the REAL battle axe but with different animation, I mean, that battle axed still remain with its atributtes... am I right? or your mod changes the templates too?

I've just changed the template data, so the grip used is of the one-handed type like for the longsword, I've not changed the anims files like i did for the spell casting. So yes it might already been done then no use for me do once more.

How do I install this mod? Unzip the animation files to "_compiledImage/animation" folder and the template files to the Data folder?

Unzip the file somewhere and copy&paste both folders from that package into your Data folder.

You're using a mage staff, silly me, i totally forgot to check for those in the animation library
I'll quote another poster in this thread: "after finishing a spell if the hero doesn't move or cast another spell his hand stays in air so is it possible to add another animation which would put him back in his normal idle position?"
I installed your mod yesterday, and I can confirm that this "hand-in-the-air" animantion bug is still there if hero casts a spell while having equipped a OneHanded weapon + shield.
I'm a fighter class fan in respect to Gothic series, and I tested your TwoHanded weapons change. I must say that it looks interesting at the begining, but soon I realised that it's not worthy using it. The main reason for this is that the animation was design to work best with a shield equipped (strictly refering to combat style), and while of course thrust attack is an awesome one in 1vs1 situations, it is worth next to nothing while using a TwoHanded sword, because it lets you far more exposed.
Of course, as you stated, this doesn't apply to orcish axes / halberds.
All the best, k.

shouldn't it be possible to make a firestorm in gothic 3? i mean the spell that existed in g1 and 2 which was like a normal fireball but with some area damage when it hits something..
if you would combine the fireball and the heatwave you probably could make some kind of firestorm like in the previous games..?
