Dunno what to think about it. It surprisingly doesn't disturb me for some reason.

I have to agree. I didn't find them as disgusting as i thought i would.

Neither did I. But I thought the warning had to be there.

if you bury them in the ground without a coffin won't they be recycled either way... way bother cutting them into pieces

Well the ones responsible might be cannibals, they treated the dead guy as any other kind of meat, they didn't even wear gloves.

i think they ought to wear gloves if they are cannibals, otherwise the food might get infected

Do you see butchers wearing gloves when they prepare the meat? My own family is pretty much a farming family, everything we eat and drink is our product (meat, wine, raki, oil, vegetables even bread) we only buy things like rice, flour and all that stuff. So I've seen plentiful times how to butcher a pig or a sheep and we never wear gloves, we simply wash our hands often (well not me personally, I avoid helping in the killing).

Lol, if they were cannibals, they wouldn't have left him to the birds. It's an old asian tradition (can't remember the country) to let the dead to the scavengers. They don't have our tabu concepts about touching the dead.

I believe the tradition is called "air burial"; instead of consigning a dead person's body to the ground, they give it to the air (which is, quite naturally, embodied by birds). It might seem gruesome, but it really isn't any more gruesome than the burial traditions that were entirely commonplace just a short time ago even in the west, such as embalming.
Cool pics, though.

Well I would certainly have preferred to be eaten by birds than rot in the ground and be eaten by worms. Cremation is always the better choice though.

I don't think the corpse cares.
I'd personally prefer to be burned into a skeleton and buried in some grave with a few of my most beloved possesions. Being ashes is a waste, I don't know.
Then again it wouldn't make too much of a difference.

Errrm guys, that body was strained... Hardly that it was some kind of a burial, more like hiding an evidence...
