You have no idea what you're talking about. EA Games are one of the most successful video game company regarding money. I'm sure they won't continue some series of game if they wouldn't be profitable.
Sure they're fun for a short time. Like, last time I played NFS(underground 2) I played it for 3 days and that was it. I didn't play it any more. While with other GOOD games I'm like, playing them for a loooong time. Take warcraft for example. When I'm into playing it, I'm like playing it for a whole month or more. Same with starcraft, worms world party, little fighter, gothic(yeah I actually play it right now), jedi academy, star wars battlefront, halo, etc.
not that I play a single game for an entire month, but it's like getting into me a lot.
-
The conclusion is that you're no casual player. You play allot of games, but I or my dad, for example, we're playing only 2/3 games. That's why you get bored of NFS, because you play other games too. While for one guy who is playing only for an hour or two, NFS or Fifa is not that boring anymore.
-
They closed Hellgate London yesterday. I never got to play MP, 'cos I always was sure someone would take it over and I would have plenty of time to go to Stonehenge. And if they would shut down, I would loose my character. Well, they did. Shit happens.
-
Exactly the reason why I didn't play it online.
Ofcourse, I only bought it last november, so I wouldn't have had much time to get a high level online anyways.

What is that having to do with one being American ? oh, and I don't expect an answer.
Don't mind the kids around here. I would love to join the army, especially US army. It is one of the greatest things to experiences in life , provided you quit unharmed and alive. Real man know what are we talkin about
Since when are you a real man, you're still very young from what I see. Have you experienced that much in life? And is it really that cool to be dressed up ridiculously, forced to kill for nothing, to slay innocents, to endanger your life? :| For what? A petty sum? It's incomparable to what the high-ups win while doing absolutely nothing. And think of all the harm you do to yourself and to the others. Also, many US military veterans end up insane and/or suicidal. Like that?
Happiness is what motivates me through its absence!
Faith is what makes you weak!
Love is nothing but an egocentric game.
-
That is true, but being American doesn't equal being a soldier.
I bet Romania too has at least a little humble army.
Actually it's one of the requirements for making a State by definition if I remember correctly.

I haven't been in American so please, preety please, scuze me if I'm mostly wrong, but many of the citizens there seem fanatically patriotic. Wich implies going to war for the country.

Many people in other countries are fanatically partiotic as well. And many veterans suffer from alcoholism, drug abuse, shellshock, post-traumatic stress disorder or other mental symptoms related to wartime-stress. That's how humans work. It just happens to be über-trendy to be anti-American right now, and has been so for the past few years; jump on the bandwagon, bash the US, be cool.
America is all right. They're responsible for the best music ever and some of the best authors ever. That's not a bad achievement.
-
@Alyn: Well, I don't jump on anyone for the faults of their Country, you can't know where anyone stands until it is stated.
I bet proportionally Italy is much worse, we just don't have the means while the USA do.
-
Oh yeah we have an army, alright. Fierce and very organised...So organised that when I was 10 I sneaked into a military camp and even got near to a shitty tank and some rocket launcers. O_O No wonder those dudes maanged to steal +50 weapons last week, even tough they had help.
Ehm I had problems with posting up there.

 Zitat von Buckingham

Btw. what's that "period" suppose to mean? I see it so often around lately
Example bellow:
I think it's smth like "Howgh!" for the indians.
Like, nothing more to add here..."I don't listen to rap! (end of story!)"

Btw. what's that "period" suppose to mean? I see it so often around lately
Example bellow:
A period is the end phrase punctuation, like this red thing here.
And as a word you can use it like a way of saying I'm done with the talk so STFU.
