My question: How could exist a US release date without a US publisher? And so I think, this dates are only roumors. Furthermore there is no release date for the German version exept "4. quarter 2005". This is not very exactly.

Does Atari still have the rights? Maybe Jowood wants to do that alone but they r not sure^^.

Atari isn´t the publisher for G3. It should be Fluent but i have read that Fluent and Jowood have cancelled their contract.
So a new one must be search for.

Tothegame always let the releas date be late in the quarter if its only a rumour..

This can't be true (imo). PB develops that game in German, so the Release date have to be before the US. Or do they synchronize it right away?

Only 3 days, that's not really "later". And I think again, this dates are only rumours.

As I asked Mike in Bremen for the English release in relation to the German one he said that it will come very fast, faster than the German will like it^^.

Here's a statement from Erik Johansen, an editor at ToTheGame:

Reason why we have end of march 2006, is that updated info says Q1 2006. However, in a soon to come Upgrade of ToTheGame (first of two main upgrades), we will include Q1/Q2/Q3/Q4 in the releaselist. Will eliminate a lot of the TBA's

And yes, i cant wait for Gothic III either, i played II, and loved it.

Also, i check the press-site several times a day for new info on Gothic III

And IMO, the EU date is actually the release date of the English version in the UK. See table at http://www.tothegame.com/devinfo.asp?id=133, it says UK Rel in the header.

So it is likely that the German version be released sooner.
