Ok,i have been playing G3 FG for quite 3 days and i havent replied for the game just because i loved it!Anyway,i want to tell you my opinion about the game.It is really good!The game has much better history than G3.Reminds a lot G1 and G2 there.The grafics are better as they promished!And the combat system is much more difficult.There are no new moves or something,but reminds a lot G1 and G2.You cannot go and kill 20 orcs from the beggining like in G3.Instead you can hardly kill 3 wolves! The history is really intresting!I make this thread to tell you my opinon and listen to my advice!First of all,do not comment only the cons of the game.(which are the bugs).Instead,be aware of the pros of this beautyful game!You only comment about the bugs and nothing else!Comment about the real stuff of the game!Ok,that is all i wanted to say.I know that some people here may insult me just because i have different opinon from some people here that say bad expresions about the game like: IT IS A JOKE.I dont care if you insult me,i only advice you to try it!But i know that many people dont want to!Anyway,that is all i wanted to say!

I don't like that Nameless Hero has turned in a righteous knight/paladin/saint/Obama ,NH of Gothic 1 & 2 was more a merc than a knight.

PS:I had trouble killing 3 wolfs in Gothic 3

I believe loading times are shorter because the world is about 1/2 of what Gothic 3 was.

Like any1 wears it or really cares about this...Immediatly you'll be wearing Fire Mage robes found in Vengard chests.

I believe that Gothic 3 with CP 1.6 is great but if FG is going to be a great game it needs much more work.

well ,i really like the way he talks to peasants or warriors. He did a lot for Myrtana and he has the right to be furious when seeing that people still FIGHT
I must say that i like the new monsters .
Vengard is totaly rebuilded and i kinda find it nice ,with inns ,hunter houses,traders and so on.
Oh and yea ,the plot is linear and its the way i like it.
I could say more but i only played 8-10 hours. This is for the "good" part coz i`m tired of bashing the poor game

Maybe,but I'm not going to play it till they release a major patch cause I don't want to hate it.These hotfixes are neither convincing nor promising.

Hmm... but why do there have to be so many patches in the early stage of the game release? That's not normal and shows that the game is still unfinished, and should have been delayed for further fixings and improvements. Remember what they did to gothic 2? They delayed it like, a lot. And the result? One of the BEST games on Earth.

About the loading time. It takes less time because the world now is much smaller.

I am sick of finding items from G3 quests all over the world...LOL
Some rebel cities from G3 like Nomara are totally abandoned...although i found the "snorting monsters" from G3 quest. And generally i found many items and weapons of NPCs from G3...from some old quests that dont exist anymore.

Almost ALL dialogs are screwed...Subtitles and voices are a mess.

I dont like how they continued the story(the hero becomes the new king). But for that scenario i can tell you that the story and the quests are very well made...(ok dont kill me now )

The quests are much more interesting now...Remind me more of G2. Good job they have done there...The only thing that keeps me playing.

If we will forget the hundreds of bugs and the AWFUL performance (its difficult i know) the game is enjoyable. I can tell you that i like it more than G3.

The dialogs are very cool...The vocabulary is much better.

Orc Boss: On your head if you wont stop asking stupid questions...


But its an unfinished game. If there wouldnt be any bugs, it would be cool
And if it would have G2 fighting systm, it would rock...

yea i like that the plot is linear now. there are better quests than in gothic 3 ,what can i say ,they did better with quests this time ,not all of them but the good quests make you forget about the childish ones.
they should fix immediately the subtitles and the voice actings. i cant believe that there are so many text errors ,even when choosing what to say.

the fans asked for more soul into the story and less "super-graphics" and thats what i see in this forsaken gods. I start thinking that in 1-2 patches they will fix the major bugs and the game will be playable. (i hope)
