While I was wondering with my super Warrior-Mage-Archer in Gothic 1,i found a secret camp next to the troll canyon where the focus is(The one you found with Diego)!
When i went in everybody started running like they saw a ghost or sth!(Actually i believe that they attack everybody less stronger than me)!
Their leader's name was Quentin but ofc he diddnt talk at all!He just ran away with the others!
After i slaughtered them all (evil me) Quentin diddnt have anything particular on him!
Note that they all wear rogue's light armor!
Any idea who are those guyz?

That's not really a secret at all. If you go there when you're on a lower level, they will indeed attack you.

If I remember well it was a part of an unfinished quest.

I think that the Golden mod reactivate that quest...of course I could be wrong...

Yes with golden mod you can do quests for quentin

"Reactivates" is pro'lly wrong, but yes, in the Golden Mod you get to do a few quests for Quentin (and the bandits are no longer hostile).

I've always looked at that camp as just a place to loot or just some random bandit camp ripe for picking.

It's a bandit camp which was supposed to have a role in the game, but sadly was left out like, oh, so many other things.

Maybe a bug but in chapter 3 when i was hunting for the focuses i decided to go on front instead of taking left so i picked in the bandits camp.And then arrows blocked out the sun exactly like in 300.Now that i replay the game as a warrior,I will try to fight with them

i found that camp when i played the game for the first time.... i killed all bandits....it's not a secret place...................

those bandits have a lot of useful stuff. in m first days of gothic i have tried a lot of tactics to kill all of them. ouu yeah after i instaleted the golden mod i saw the diference and i loved it.(i mean is great to work for quentin and to see that he is the right hand of lares.)
