Hello,

I guess everybody who played G3 knows this plants:

1) Permanently increase your abilities (except King's Sorrel - used for making permanent potions as a catalyst);
2) Are hard to find and do not re-spawn;
3) From what I observed grow in the same places on every game (are not randomly placed on the map).

I will soon begin a new game as a mage and I will try to write down every place in the G3 world where I will find these plants.

To begin there is always one King's Sorrel at the beginning of the game just out of Ardea, as you begin to make the left turn towards the cabin Lester is sitting.
I remember of another one in the same valley you find Porgan the Druid. In the road from Trelis to Ardea you will find it before reaching Porgan, on the right side if I am not mistaken.

Also, I do remember three places where you will find two or three Dragon Roots at a time:
- One is near Silden, by the river. From the abandoned Gold Mine (the one overrun by wolves), descend to the river. In the right you will see a pair of "Monsters". Turn left and walk until you hit a couple of Trolls. There, near the mountain wall, you will find the Dragon Roots (probably after you defeat the trolls)
- To find the second one, go to Lagos and cross the sea toward Myrtana. On the other shore you will find a stone circle guarded by several Gargoyles. The plants are there...
- The third I found following another post from this forum. Go in front of the Geldern's sulphur mine and facing it's entrance go slightly to the right until you find a place where the hight of the mountain is not so high. You will not be able to climb by simply walking, you will have to jump over a few times in a row to be able to reach the top of the wall. There if you turn right again, you will find a ruin and a dragon guarding it. There are 2 or 3 Dragon Roots there along with 3 chests...

About the Goblin Berry, all I recall now is two plants I found recently near the Temple of Trelis, on the slope between the temple and the river.

Please each of you share you findings and together we may be able at some point even to create a map of the world containing all these locations... From what I saw in the maps section, maybe Mistress_Larisa will be able and willing to help.

I know a thing or two about plants.
-Wolfweed.Can be found near many packs of wolves.
ex : Near Ardea.Near the stone circle.
-Strange mushroom.They aren't actually rare.But hard to find,as they stay in dangerous/hard to get to areas.
-Dragon Neetle.They're in hard to get areas.
ex : Near Reddock,near a bush,near the stairs.
There aren't many rare plants in-game but some of them are useful.
But I don't think it's necessary to make a map just for plants.
We should include other things on it.

what the hell do you need Wolfeed for? it doesn't give any permenant attributes - it's just for potions as far as I know.

but don't forget Armorweed - which give permenant boost to our endurance, and there is another plant to increase lifeforce....

Those ogreplant or whatever they are named ( you know the ones that give strength, but is not the dragonroot ) can be found everywhere in Nordmaar

There's the Goblin Berry up on the hills near Okara. Just cross their "fish net roof" and go up left (not towards the nasty shadowbeasts). It will take some climbing to reach the plant, but nothing earthshaking (pun intented).

well, a bit north from Geldern, there is a small rangers group, in ther immidiate sourounding I found 3 goblin berries, and also another one when you exist Geldern toward them - on the left, hidden behind som trees.

Demon mushrooms are for anti-weakness (or poison.. ) and the strange mushrooms are used for transformation spells.

Spamming around the forum is not the way you should use for this. Try to write useful posts in current threads, there are enough possibilities not only in here. Maybe have a look in the discussion forum.

Im playing the game too and I wil try to remember where I found the King Sorrrels.there are at more than 20 king's sorrel in myrtana alone,

in Ardea :
1.you can find them near the orc scouts,
2.in the pack of running wolves behind the house where Lester is sitting(after liberating Ardea)theres also dragon root in there.
3. in the area where Bilge Rats were, maybe further but definitely outside the back gate of Ardea.
4.In a burnt house near the bandits. (Look aound all the burnt houses in Ardea)
5.near the mine crawler cave on the Cape Dun-Vengard road on the hill.
6. on Vengard road were the Schrat, Ripper beast and Goblins were.There's also a Cave in there with a mummy and undead and treasure inside. I took this road on my way from Ardea to Faring to avoid the hostile orcs outside Vengard.

Reddock-Cape Dun Road:

1. explore the area around the cave in reddock. I think theres one near the the skeletons or where the wolves are.

Cape Dun-Montera Road

1. infront of Porgan's cave and at the back of a burnt house.

Montera:

1. At Dennis' livestock farm infront the Montera Castle gate.
2. In the Montera-gotha road before reaching the Elbert's grain farm. Ther's a burnt stone house with a ripperbeast the's one there.


Trelis:
1.at the sneaky ogres entrance
2.before reaching Torn and his Rangers on the Trelis-Geldern road.Above the Snappers on the waterfalls.there are crocodiles in ther'se one king sorrel in there. you have to climb the hill and get to the waterfalls.
3.From Farmon's farm, follow the river until you encounter swamp lurkers you wil be almost on Varant if you will continue.
4. at the temple of Trelis, go down where the trolls, monsters and gargoyles. thers a stone henge there with beliars shirne, there are dragon roots there
5. From Montera-Trelis road after you passed Otis and his group theres a ruin and a destroyed wooden house, explore the area particulary on the ditch theres one king sorrel there and goblin berries there.


Geldern:

1. At the cave entrance where Mirzo's brother is digging.
2. From Trelis, just at the gate entrance to the right.
3. if you can find the ruin with a dragon in Geldern, there's one king sorrel and 3 dragon roots. Climb the mountain from Mirzo's brother cave. the king sorrel was not in the dragon's ruin. you have to climb a bit more. i found this bcause im too weak to fight the dragon on my evasion i found the king sorrel.
4. In the tunnel wolves cave, explore the area where the ripperbeasts and the 3 ogres are, furhter you will find wild boars behind one of the trees theres one sorrel in there.
5. In one of Nemrok's quests, you have to find an artifact in an old ruins north of Geldern, The ruins is on top of the mountain at hte end of Silden river. If you explore the area where the monsters were, theres one king sorrel in there.
6. Exploring the area on the way to Nemrok's ruin, on top of the druid Runak's house, there's a plain in there with chests and one king sorrel.

Okara:

1. look for the ogres below the rebels cave, thres 2 king sorrel there.
2. explore the area where the malicious rippperbeasts and bunch of scavengers were. there should be one there.

Silden:

1. explore the area where the 5 escaped slaves hiding.
2. there should be one between Anog's stronghold and the group of stranded orcs.

Braga:

1. at the back of the water vendor's tent.forgot his name.

Bene Rai:

1. one at Vasco's sandcrawlers.

Lago:

1. find Rasul's bloodflies then kill all the Lurkers in the area. there is one sorrel there.


I have not explore Faring and Nordmar as my quest leads me now to Varant.
explore the Okara-Silden-Trelis region for there are King Sorrels to be found there. There are more flameberries, goblinberries and reign weeds that i found than King sorrel and dragonroot.
