Hi I know that the Risen Forum is almost dead, I also looked at the member status of some modders and many havent posted something for years.
So I believe that no one will answer at least any time soon.
Despite I am not a big fan of Risen 2 I replayed it last month. With Risenaut and tple editor I was able to make some changes like rebalancing weapons. For example I increased reload time of muskets and shotguns. Armor also increased max blood and some other stuff. I was even able to create new items. For example as an smith you can upgrade armor with new recipes. And it worked.
However here are the things I want to do.
-I want to change skills. I want to reduce the bonus the hero receives as well as the cost. For example I want that piercing weapons I requires at least blades rang 3, gives +6 talent and costs only 300 gold. If possible learning thievery skills should cost glory instead of gold. Where can I change these values?
-Despite I was able to create new items there isnt any discription. For exxample I copied It_Shirt_Collar.tple and made it It_Shirt_Collar2.tple, in game the item is called N/A: It_Shirt_Collar2. I thing this information is saved in data/common/strings in a tab file. How can I edit tab files?
-How can I give new items to vendors? So far I just activaded cheat mode pommes and added the items to the hero via give xxx 1, since most of my new recipes have high conditions to create it would also be Ok if the hero start with these items in his inventory once you start a new game. However would be nice to edit traders as well.
-legendary items (at least some) are way too overpowered. So far I reduced the bonus or give some disadvatages as well. Would it be possible to change them, that the bonus is only active AFTER you read the book and starting the quest?
- tried to give rum and grog a cooldown, since there is no vodoo in my mod I used cooldown type vodoo but it didnt worked, also used other cooldown types like sand but same result.

At least those two i can answer (i guess)
In the mod tools from NicoDE there is are the tools Risentab and Risencsv. Those can be used to pack/unpack the strings file.
For the second question you can look into the modding documentation of the Risen Extended Mod and the linked forum threads there. felsenschmied managed to do this somehow.
