Greetings, everybody.

Is anyone here able to help me fix the "Where is the Guru?" error? My game crashes very spontaneously: sometimes from pressing the "M" key to open the map and sometimes by opening the inventory.

For me it looks like the available memory for Gothic3 is to low and loading of resources fails.
Try to set lower distances in Gothic3 menu or reduce texture size in menu.
PS:
The Content Mod uses my ini setting, but the highest settings are not for reliable playing.
Even the lowest setting are higher than the original Gothic3 highest settings.

Hello, MadFaTal.

I tried to put everything on the absolute low setting and nothing changed, the error is still present. When I start a new game and then try to open the inventory or the map in Ardea, everything seems fine. However, it may be so, simply because the character is located in Myrtana region and my in my latest save I am somewhere in Varant. Therefore, I would simply argue that Varant is a lot more "needy" in terms of game resources and RAM.

Maybe something is wrong with the saves? Or perhaps something went wrong during the installation and modification process of Gothic? These are all the things that I've installed: Community Patch & Update Pack, Parallel Universe 1.0.5 Patch, Questpaket & Update, CM 3.1, some minor mods through MDS, and that's it. I also did the G3CU File Optimization thing.
