The characterset is an .xml file. These files contain head, body, arms, legs, hands, feet and hair and determine how the PC looks. The xml files for the NPCs are different. In most cases they have only a complete body with all body parts. That's why it doesn't work.
Here is the .xml file for a male warrior:
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
<skins>
<koerper>
<koerperteile>
<mensch_standard_arme />
</koerperteile>
</koerper>
<koerper>
<koerperteile>
<kopf_elf_kaempfer />
</koerperteile>
</koerper>
<koerper>
<koerperteile>
<mensch_standard_beine />
</koerperteile>
</koerper>
<koerper>
<koerperteile>
<mensch_standard_fuesse />
</koerperteile>
</koerper>
<koerper>
<koerperteile>
<mensch_standard_haende />
</koerperteile>
</koerper>
<koerper>
<koerperteile>
<mensch_standard_oberkoerper />
</koerperteile>
</koerper>
<koerper>
<haare>
<haare_elf_02_voll />
</haare>
</koerper>
</skins>
<variation>
<pc_elf_gross_kraeftig />
</variation>
And here the .xml file you tried:
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
<skins>
<koerper>
<koerper>
<npc_praiot_gross_vollbart />
</koerper>
</koerper>
</skins>
<variation>
<pc_kraeftig_gross />
</variation>
You can clearly see the differences.
If you want to alter the apperance of you character you must create either a new .xml file containing all necessary parts or change the current file. If you need help in doing this, just ask. But it will become a bit complicated.
