I'm not getting Lares' dialog option for easier ways to join a guild. I read that if you talk to Lee about the Ring of Water then Lares' dialog option about easier ways to join guilds disappears. Is that right because I think that's what happened. I don't have a saved game to load because it was a long time ago that I talked to Lee and I just discovered this problem. So does anyone know a cheat code that gives Lares the dialog option or know where I can find it? I think it's "Help me join a community" and then he tells you the 3 options. I also talked to Vatras and he has nothing to say about talking to Lares about joining a guild.

There is no Cheat Code, but you can use the Gothic Variablen Editor.
Modify the Savegame with this editor to unlock the dialog option.

Tip: Make a backup of your Savegame.

It was a good idea but it didn't help. I found 33 variables for Lares and 1 for Lee and they're all set to 0. The variable is probably not named after Lares or Lee. It could be named anything. That makes it impossible to find.

Try "rangerhelp_gildeXYZ"

XYZ = kdf / mil / sld
kdf = Fire Mages
mil = Militia
sld = Mercenary


Lee gives just a hint, that's no problem. Cord can help to become a mercenary.
