darn i killed basir way back in the game when liberating montera
and got the message that i solved the artifact thief quest
didnt know what that meant then
Basir is the bar in Montera... at least there I found him...
But I have to kill him and I don't know how to do it without the guards to see me.
Use some monster summoning spell to engage the guards and then very fast kill Basir before the guards fight is over. You may have to try it few times to get your timing right.

Thanks for the tip. Although kinda late (it's a 11 months old discussion).
No need to dig up old threads, this is undesired here.

Accept my apologies, Mam. I wasn't aware that an 11month old but still useful tip is undesired here. It seemed to me that people who just started the game may need to read all threads of interest to them, even the old ones, and that good tips don't expire.

A good tip can't hurt, assuming it's provided in the right place. The idea is that it's highly improbable that somebody who asked a question would be interested in the answer after more than 1 or 2 months. This is done to prevent spamming. Not your case, but a rule it's a rule.

I agree. Those who posted a question wouldn't be interested, but what about others who DO NOT post questions but read first any related hints and what if the tip they're looking for is deeply burried in an 11month old thread. But I got your point.
