I just noticed on the back of the case it says that G3 uses physX . I was wondering if anyone here had tried to install the latest physX drivers to see if they get any improvement from the game? As far as i know , even if you don't have a physX card , old drivers can slow the game down (this is the case with G.R.A.W.F). I would do it myself, but my comp isn't exactly the best one to try it on

PhysX will be implemented with a patch in the future. The Hardware isn't supported till now.

i would actually like to ask, does anyone who uses this forum, actually have a Aegea PhysX card?

that would be a good thing to ask really, is it that important (other than adverising the card itself) to get this additional driver in an early patch, when say only 1% of users actually own one. Personally ive never actually seen one of these cards for sale anywhere so i am guessing not a lot of people have them.

Personally , i have never seen a physX card for sale and my stockist is a UK wide distributor of pc components. I don't think this is a very good idea for implementing in G3 as it means that people who have never even heard of them cards might think they have to get one in order to play, which they don't.
someone should give PB a good smack around the head and make them see sense. Why , with the high requirements of G3 , do they want to miss out on ( imo) about 50% of there target audience ? Like me , I have played Gothic through all incarnations , and at my age now , paying for more pc components is out of the question as I have more important things to pay first . (like gas/electricity/mortgage/food/clothes) . Someone should tell these designers to stop moving the goal posts with games

as someone who builds computers occasionally, i want to know why people would want to spend another £300 to £400 on another card to install (estimated price comparison from us dollars) after people going out buying dual card systems of whichever version then they need another card of similar cost as well, the graphical processing component alone for that system is coming to near on £700 to £800 nevermind chip etc, the whole sityuation is getting silly in my eyes

well i got one of thoses cards and im thinking of 3dfx and their invention (3d accel.). it seems to me to be the right idea. cpu+gpu+ppu .. well the gpu and cpu and mb manifactures are wanna make their money as well so we wait and see whats in the end left. ageia, havok or ati's 3rd card ??? maybe the mb manuf. ? dosent matter who robs your money for whatever .. at least it looks pretty and works well... maybe one day we finaly get a working ai ... but i think befor that .. i die ...
