I recently stumbled upon this mod, and noticed that it's translated for german and polish. I'd like to start project to translate it to english as well, but i don't have no clue how to implement translations.

Is there anyone who could help me out and how to get started?

I was planning to do it manually, but i just heard about this patch yesterday. How is the english in that patch? Any examples/screenshots of the english in that patch? Just trying to decide is it worth to do it from scratch.

Dunno, normally Google english Patches are understandable but not perfect english
Give it a try and you will see.
