So I've started over and want to join the orcs and become a mage. And I would like a robe as fast as possible So where do I get one? Not some silly Fire Mage robe.. Im not an ordained of Innos! :P I guess I'll have to help the hashishin perhaps and become a black mage?

EDIT: One more thing where can I learn Ancient Magic after I've killed Sebastian (the mage in Raddock - I havn't yet!)

I think you can learn ancient magic in the shrines of the gods scattered around the kingdom.

When you are headed for Montera and you meet the mercenary at the farm who tells you to report to the leader in Montera.. you simply go west and meet the Rangers. The druid there can also teach you magic.

The druids sell robes. The Fire Mages sell robes. I haven't yet found Water and Black mages's robes for sale. But you will need enough rep.

Cronos the water mage, pretty far south of Lago, sells the water mage robe.

in the temple of varant theres v nice white robe. 40 defences. and 40 fire resist.

its was one of the most southern temples in desert.

The druid at the the small ranger camp north of trelis (across the bridge toward geldern) is selling a druid robe.

Looks pretty neat aswell, it has a "cloak" on the back.

Before the new patch it was for me only one who is called "firemage", after the patch he is "Pyran", he is where you end up when you teleport to the monastery.

You can also buy a Fire Mage's robe in Vangard. The firemage near the King has one that i bought for 65000... it was better than my Rebel Armor.

Just wear the Adanos's Robe you get in Varant. ^____^ It really looks good on the Hero. And if you add the Crown and Ring you can pretend you're Adanos. ^^
