I intend to make this a comprehensive list of all singleplayer mods for Gothic 1/Gothic 2. All the mods listed here are currently in my collection. Mods that were released at some point but that I haven't been able to find yet are listed in the "Lost Mods" post.
The link provided with each mod is for an explanation of what it is (and maybe a download link). If a mod has no link it either means I found no site to link or it contains content that might go against forum rules (mostly the first case). If you are unable to find a mod or are looking for a specific language/version, ask away.

Submods

A few mods have mods for themselves or alternate versions made by fans. Those are listed directly under the original mod with a "-". It's usually not counted as a submod if it's made by the original authors or is a bugfix or translation.

"Mroczne Tajemnice" is the original name of the mod. It has been released in Czech, English, German, Polish, Russian and Spanish. Its alternative names are "Dunkle Geheimnisse", "Dark Mysteries", "Мрачные Тайны", "Temná Tajemství". It has one submod called "DruidLOD Mod" in Polish which is also called "edit by Graveir".
Note that the order of languages has nothing to do with the original language or the alternative titles. For now you need to derive such information yourself.

There are some redundancies (i.e. patches listed twice with different names) in your list. Some patches are listed both for Gothic 1 and Gothic 1+2 with wrong names and some wrong links. I corrected their names and links (red: deletions, green: additions, blue: notes).

Thanks for your help. The ones listed twice were initially for only 1 game, but now I will treat them like earlier versions of the 1+2 mods.
As I try to have a list that is as complete as possible I will not remove any mods for being outdated or badly programmed, but I will mark them with a strikethrough.
