    Thanks for continuing your artworks. I like the new one, since it's a special part of the game where you go to another place for the first time. The place you chose is pretty nice, with the waterfall and everything.

    But why they need (two!) maps to find the way back to their camp? Okay, maybe they are just too stoned.

    Interesting and funny, that you can force Baal Parvez to go another route where he probably dies.

    INTO THE DARKNESS

    Time taken: 50 minutes
    Crazy Kor Kalom and his fanatic followers just arrived to the entrance of the Temple of the Sleeper. A red, demonic face stalks the guys from the darkness behind the gate. Gor Boba is fearless and does seem to not care about it (he's just waiting for specific orders). Just look at the novice's face!! It's hilarious! He's thinking something like "Are you serious?! Aren't you goint to take care of...that thing?!" LOL

    Quick notes:
    1) As I remember, that's the first First Person View artwork I upload in here.
    2) Kalom's gear is authentic, because that's his sword and because inside of the temple he uses pyrokinesis. Even the arms are original.
    3) In order to create FPS Kalom, I used two clones of Kalom xD They aren't facing the entrance. Instead, they are looking at each other.
    4) The daemonic face from the artwork is inspired to a famous cutscene from Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation. Here it is:

    Looks pretty cool (especially the evil eyes behind the gate) and it's an interesting view, but first person and Gothic doesn't fit for me.

    Thank you! Unfortunately, I think you will have to see another FPS artwork xD But first of all I will have to ask the permission to Don Esteban because the artwork is a bit gore (there's a beheaded gladiator in the background)

    Today I feel I have to create an artwork. The idea is related to the Free Mine invasion... There's something undefined in my mind but I can't say I will succeed, because the idea is not that clear. In case, I will upload the minecrawler egg's artwork. It's very old and I still have to upload it.

    THE LAST BASTION

    THE LAST BASTION

    Description: The winch shack is the last bastion of the last bag of New Camp soldiers. Hurry up! Close the door, barricade yourself: there's no hope in a red hell like this!



    Notes:

    1) This was a surprise attack. I imagine that the Old Camp warriors were mostly light infantry specialists: I can imagine lots of javelins, lots of crossbows and a smaller number of short swords for backup. I can imagine a very small number of "black guards" (standard infantry with broadsword and shield) and a single "heavy guard": Jackal.

    2) Outside of the door I did create a smoke fx effect. I can also imagine burning shacks during the short battle.

    3) I'm proud to present you the New Camp shield, created with a minecrawler plate. I didn't have to use hero import/export to create that. It's just as big as I wanted. And it looks somewhat barbarian.

    Nice one!

    There are many things I like in this picture: the warrior who closes the door in hurry while a guard from the old camp is running towards the shack, the warrior whose face shows pure fear, the exhausted warrior with an arrow in his shoulder plate, the warrior who is fataly injured and seems to die in the next few moments and of course the smoke effect, which adds a special atmosphere.

    Well done!

    Thank you! The other idea was to create an outside battle scene. Buildings on fire, smoke and some light armored skirmshers advancing in the battleground.



    I still have a loop in my mind where skirmshers throw javelins from behind a soft smoke column. I guess I will have to create this artwork. But I don't know which scenery could be the right one.
    Maybe Old Camp attacking Quentin's camp? Or Old Camp defending the exchange plaza?

    - Quentin's camp hasn't got a role in the game. An Old Camp attack would be pure fantasy.
    - I already covered the exchange plaza issue with Lares' gang (excalibur gothica), but it didn't feature a combat scenery.

    HIGH VOLTAGE

    HIGH VOLTAGE

    SMALL DESCRIPTION
    The tunnel's wind blows like a tornado, and its power attracts the nearest dead bodies.
    The Sleeper doesn't seem to give up, but Uriziel's voltage will destroy its remaining willpower.
    In some seconds, the world will be safe...for now. Only Beliar knows what's up next.

    NOTES
    - The final movie features lots of FX effects. I did add as many as possible. For instance, an invisible guy is casting Storm Fist inside of the tunnel to create a remake of the original effect. The yellow things should act like a sort of sparkles (an invisible Pc Rockefeller is just holding in his hand a spell from behind the camera...I don't remember the spell's name). And, of course, there's Uriziel's lightning.
    - Is the left hand of the Hero touching the sword? NO. It would be lethal. In my interpretation, he's just covering his eyes because of the sparkles.
    - In my opinion, the Hero's stance is the perfect pose to oppose the wind's strength.

    A question to experts like Lali...
    Why does Uriziel cast lightning against the Sleeper (only in the movie)? In game, it just causes fire damage to every enemy type.

    Unfortunately, this will remain the only picture with the Sleeper :-(
    I have in mind an artwork about the Great Invocation, where magic energy flows near people, but you won't see the Sleeper in any case.

    There aren't much remaining artworks. The "must do" ones are:
    1) The Great Invocation/the death of Y Berion (a single specific artwork, or both artworks)
    2) Something related to the Ulu Mulu quest...I'm thinking about a swampshark attack, where there's the hero in minecrawler plate armor and where a templar is inside of the mouth of the beast
    3) Something inside of the Old Mine (Kalom's quest, no little digger quests)
    4) An artwork related to the discover of Uriziel inside of the temple of the Sleeper
    5) An artwork about the Old Camp market area...maybe where the Hero is going to buy a sword for Whistler...or where he is going to give the receipt to Dexter. Someone manipulating the roasted scavenger will be there for sure. I've found how to move it (just a simulation, won't work during normal gameplay)
    6) An official artwork about Ur Shak
    7) A tribute to Buster, the acrobatics teacher
    8) An artwork about the Hero's betrayal/Old Camp ban in chapter 4
    9) An artwork related to the New Camp ban after Uriziel has been recharged (I guess that the hero will attempt to teleport to the Old Camp while mercenaries run to the ore mound room)
    10) I do already have other 5 pictures, if something is missing. Most small favors before joining the camps won't be included..

    KHARIM THE BARBARIAN

    Time taken: I don't remember, really.
    Once upon a time, 4 gladiators were fighting for glory. One of them was killed, the nameless hero was wounded...one versus one...who's gonna win the fight?!

    Quick notes:
    1) With the pickup/world version of a Sect armor, I was able to create a first person Sect shield.
    2) I can confirm that the templar is Gor Hanis. I did choose a different armor set and that particular sword because they are way more better than the original ones.
    3) Kharim is wearing his concept art armor (I guess the mercenary that appears during Gothic installation is Kharim)
    4) This might be the first picture where you can see a beheaded person. The beheaded person is composed by two different actors: a skeleton wearing an human armor (he will appear headless) and a guy wearing bikini armor (his body will disappear)
    5) With the Hero Import/Export feature, I did create a taller version of Kharim because I wanted him to look even more brutal. However, his knees are bending and you can't notice his superior height.
    6) I did choose to injury the hero because - if you aren't strong enough - it is somewhat easy to lose to Kharim. Also, even if you lose, Scatty will be somewhat happy about your bravery.

    First of all: It's really nice to see you here again.

    You made a nice picture for your comeback. I like to see this gladiator style combat with Kharim going on a blood rage.

    I had in mind to create an artwork about an undercover Shadow in the Free Mine (he should be gaining intelligence informations just before the attack)...but I'm not sure if I have time. I live on my own, now. I don't have much spare time :-(

    Description
    :

    The Great Porch of the Old Camp castle. Midnight.
    While most soldiers are finger-pointing at the Old Camp suburbs (maybe something like a brawl is happening), a young mage and an unknown guard are looking at the sky. The sorcerer's battle staff lits on, but no spells were cast by the mortal: it must be Innos, with a wonderful message of Hope.
    Your destiny has been written in the stars, Milten! Find a way out of the barrier, improve yourself, then seek for your answers in Nordmar!!!

    Notes
    :

    - I'm back, but just for some new artworks: this is a NEW artwork from yesterday, not one of the old ones!
    - Originally, I didn't know that the moon would show up on the left. When I noticed that the moon was moving to the artwork location, I did wait for the perfect moment...et voilà!
    - You can see some smoke. It comes from the Outer Ring (maybe a hut is burning, or it's about campfires). However, I swear I didn't place that smoke: you have to understand this is a no-gravity-artwork. So, the smoke are just clouds up in the sky.
    - If you don't have any clue about the battle staff on fire, please read the "description" section.
