Hallo zusammen

Ich habe vor einem Monat mein Mainboard eingesandt, weil es kein HDMI signal geliefert hat.
Jetzt habe Ich ein anderes MB erhalten, nur das dieses auch kein HDMI Signal liefert..

DIe Wahrscheindlichkeit dafür ist mir dann doch etwas absurd niedrig.

xrandr -q liefert nachfolgendes:

Screen 0: minimum 2560 x 1440, current 2560 x 1440, maximum 2560 x 1440
default connected 2560x1440+0+0 0mm x 0mm
   2560x1440     93.00*

Der Screen ist via DP angeschlossen und hat eigentlich 144hz.

und teile uns mit, welche Distribution (inkl. Version) du einsetzt. Funktioniert wenigstens der Textmodus oder geht der auch nicht?

Hmmm... probiere im Zweifel mal einen neueren Kernel. Der 4.18.0 ist fast ein Jahr älter als die CPU. Würde mich nicht überraschen, wenn er sie nicht vollständig unterstützt.

Ich habe auch schon gelesen, dass manchmal das Laden des DisplayCore-Treibers via Kernelparameter erzwungen werden musste (amdgpu.dc=1).

Was ist das denn für ein Ubuntu? 18.04?

Probiere doch mal testweise ein Live-System, das mit aktuellerer Software kommt. Zum Beispiel ein Fedora. Oder Arch. Das hat gerade Anfang des Monats ein neues Live-Image mit Kernel 5.2.11 veröffentlicht.

Das ist die Firmware für den Grafikchip. Fehlt vermutlich noch bei deiner Distri.

Du kannst versuchen, das GIT-Repo zu klonen und die fehlenden Dateien von Hand nach /lib/firmware/amdgpu zu kopieren.

EDIT: Nach etwa 4 Neustarts geht es, ich habe folgende beide Befehle ausgeführt, wonach Ich in der AUdioverwaltung mehr EInträge hatte:
