Hey guys
I became an apprentice to smith in town but i can't forge. I have raw steel an i learned how to forge. But when i use forge fire nothing happens.

First you should go to the anvil to gebin to forge a sword. You don't need the forge fire for this.

What do u mean? I have 2 raw steel. And i can't make sword. If i go to directly to anvil nothing happen. If i go to fire forge "i'm using it" and that is it. Nothing happen.

You don't need raw steel, you need steel bars to forge swords.

Edit:
And if you have iron ore you can make steel bars with the forge fire.

What version of l'Hiver are you playing? What I write here is for v 1.1.3 or 1.1.4.

If I am right you can get steel bars from Brian, Harad, and/or Carl. May be there are other traders, too, in the city. But the number of steel bars you can get is very small. You will need to learn the digging of ore. And you have to find the ore in the caves of the world.

I installed the german version of the game and added this mod to it. Now I have german voice acting + english subtitles/ item description. Can I change the subtitles to german by any chance? Thank you in advance

L'Hiver ist in englisch. Wenn du es über das deutsche Gothic 2 installierst, dann bleiben die Sprachdateien in deutsch (original so installiert bei dir). Aber die Untertitel sind von der englischen Mod und damit nicht änderbar, es sei denn, jemand übersetzt die Mod komplett nach deutsch.

Did you use both the base and the script files? If so I don't know how to help you.

But I must say I made a .mod out of these files, I never had any problem with that.

I just looked in benets inventory in an old save, and I found no raw steel there. Do you really use L'Hiver with all the scripts?

you need BASE 1.1.3 and SCRIPTS 1.1.3... and then start a NEW GAME!!! or in my case 1.1.3 base with 1.1.4 scripts which is perfect

I tested it without the scripts 1.1.3. I started a new game, went to town. and brian had no steel barsin his inventory, but he sold raw steel. Carl and Harad did not sell anything, like in vanilla gothic. The starting menu looks like yours.
I would really think you did not use the script- file.
