Thanks for bringing that up. I am not familiar with this issue. It looks like this might be a general issue of ranged combat. Can you confirm positively, that this does not happen for normal (i.e. auto) aiming?
In normal shooting, there is no such thing, because it is impossible to make a streif there, when the Hero takes out an arrow after the shot.
The video shows what buttons and animations I press in normal shooting. https://youtu.be/GCnGFIjK7iY [Bild: XYZW78i]

Thanks for confirming and the videos! Unfortunately, I don't recall having changed anything about strafing behavior. From the first video, it seems that this does not occur every time. Is it frequent enough to become a major issue?
I can't promise to fix that. It may be quite time intensive to find a relation to the code.
During my mod play, I've had this happen often, it's strange that no one has written about it (Or are players like tanks standing and taking blows on themselves while shooting? )
It seems to me that perhaps the problem lies in the animation, for some reason the streif interrupts the T_BOWRELOAD animation
You take your time. I only had experience in one mod.
I noticed that in the modification, when using this patch in a battle with a Raven, a crash occurs. AS is as uninformative as possible, so I have no idea why. https://forum.worldofplayers.de/foru...-Edition-1-5-2

About this problem, is it possible to add to the function when the start of the shot occurs, if there is no bolt/arrow in the hand slot, and the hero has them in his inventory, then add the item to the hand slot.
Hello. Since you have decided to release an update, here is another small error that does not affect, but it is worth removing. Occurs very rarely and only if an enemy character makes a shot, dies and his arrow hits/misses the hero

Thanks, good catch! I will add this to the list of improvements.

Maybe I can point the direction. I made a temporary fix for the bow for myself only one mod. The meaning is this, I get the value from ZS_RIGHTHAND, if NULL is there, then I insert the necessary arrow into ZS_RIGHTHAND.
It is also clear from the code that I am inserting through AI_Func, it was noticed that if hero is in AI_wait with S_BOWAIM animation, it will be AS due to an attempt to insert an item into the slot, so I queue the insertion of the item.
