Hi,
with this tool you can to change some hero values in the game. For those who don't want to cheat it may be also interesting since you are now able to see all the hidden values like life, resistances, XP etc. The GUI is created with AntTweakbar (http://anttweakbar.sourceforge.net/doc/), so you can reposition and resize the windows and save all your settings.
Screenshot:
[Bild: screen2.png]
Features:
- Change the hero's attributes and abilities
- Change jetpack and movement behaviour
- Teleport to a saved location
Notes to teleport feature:
- Don't teleport when you are flying, you won't be able to fly any more otherwise.
- Freeze duration: Time in seconds player movement is disabled after teleporting. This is necessary because it takes some time to render the new location. If this value is too low, the hero won't collide with the ground and fall down...
Install:
Simply put the files into your ELEX/system folder.
Uninstall:
To temporarily deactivate, rename the d3d11.dll. To uninstall, simply remove the files.
Usage:
- F1: Turn on/off the GUI.
- F2: Lock/Unlock mouse.
Changelog:
V1.4:
- Added Teleport
V1.3:
- Attributes and resistances are now being shown and refreshed correctly
- Fixed bug that caused a crash when changing the resolution
V1.2:
- GOG-version now supported
V1.1:
- Added value for XP to next level

250*(19+1)*19 = 95000

As long as you don't mess up the .cfg files or use the old ones from the Jetpack Console, you can't do anything wrong. I assumed that it doesn't work for GOG-version, because this tool depends on specific offsets in the ELEX.exe, which I expected to be different between the two versions. Nevertheless I hoped it will also work on GOG-version since the tool searches for these offsets by certain byte patterns.
I don't want to buy the game a second time, but I need at least the ELEX.exe from the GOG-version before I can try to fix this.
Edit: Does the game crash or are you simply not seeing the GUI?
-
No crashes, I'm not seeing the GUI. I will attach ELEX.exe when i get home. As I can see you are using ReLive, maybe it affect some offsets, and GUI does not show up on NVIDIA GPU's? Just a theory.
UPD:
1) I have a new menu option integrated in the ELEX native UI with the latest ShadowPlay, "Best moment" or something like that. So now I'm 90% sure that the ShadowPlay is the problem.Geändert von Imbaprofeeder (24.01.2018 um 10:29 Uhr)

It works also without ReLive, but you're right maybe ShadowPlay causes the Problem. Can you completely disable ShadowPlay just to figure out if it is the problem?
Also, to figure out if the engine behind the GUI actually works, you can copy the content of RMDefault.cfg to RMSettings.cfg and change a value lets say e.g. MaxLinearVelocityRun, and look in the game if you can run faster.
-
Thanks.
Ok seems like all offsets match except movement speed, so this was an unlucky example xD
I need to fix this and also implement a logger to get more infos in future. For now, can you try it again with some Jetpack value and if it doesn't work, make sure the d3d11.dll is actually being loaded. You can do this by creating an empty file called d3d11.dll and put this into the folder instead of the exting one. (rename the existing one temporarily). The game should not be able to start now.

Wow, super.
-
I think the problem is that RMElex.dll was not found. I made some changes regarding this, fixed the offset for movement speed and implemented some logs. You can try it: https://upload.worldofplayers.de/fil...UI_1.1_fix.zip
It might work now. If not, please post the contents of the RMLog.txt that hopefully will be created.
Freut mich

Danke Jimbei; tolles Tool!

Works like a charm, but jetpack and movement values are 0.

Ok that's great to hear. I got it now it's the same problem again but now with the cfg files that could not be found. I'm pretty sure that this one now works: https://upload.worldofplayers.de/files11/ElexCheatGUI_1.1_fix2.zip

The first post was mistakenly loaded with two versions of 1.1, the second one simply renamed 1.2 (!)
