I just completed Gothic II for the first time. It is, without doubt, one of the best games I have ever played. Truly amazing.The other day when I was coming towards the end of the game, I was scrolling through my inventory and to my shock and awe, I noticed one of my items changed form at some point in the playthrough. I'm not sure if anyone has noticed this before. There is no record of it on the internet from what I can see.

Here is my discovery: Bloodwyn's head (acquired towards the end of NotR DLC) decomposes over time!!

When you first pick up his head, Bloodwyn is very much recognisable. However, later on in the game his head has decomposed to an unrecognisable and somewhat disturbing state!

I'm sorry if this is well known, but it just amazes me how much detail is put into this game.

I think, this happens because of the face you can see on the door that is guarded by the seekers and the black mage, just in the big room before you encounter the undead dragon. The face on the door just has the same texture. Maybe its a bug. But a nice one.

Ist mir nie aufgefallen. Da man Bloodwyn's Kopf später nicht mehr braucht, habe ich auch nie darauf geachtet. Der Effekt muss ja programmiert sein und es ist schon erstaunlich, dass sich PB soviel Arbeit macht.
