Just started the game, I'm in Ardea and I'm really struggling. Hard to spot the markers for stuff that can be picked up - the font is really tiny and I'm really OLD

Also, I can't find a way to pause the game. Someone posted L CTRL + F4 but it doesn't work for me.

Whatever screen resolution you use the GUI scales well with one exception: focus names.
If you have a very high resolution monitor the only option is to use a lower resolution in Gothic3 if it's hard für you to read the focus names.

I was afraid that was the case. I just got spoiled in the earlier Gothic games by being able to display and think about the Character screen or the Quest Log and have the game stop while I was doing it.

Oh, well.

One thing I do like in G3 is the compass display: i always thought the earlier games, especially NotR, could do with that - someone tells you to go to the east, you need compass to tell which way east is. Pity there isn't a clock display as well.
