Is it me or do some crafting mechanics make no sense? Like to reinforce a leather armor I need 4 troll tusks. How does a noob character even kill a troll? You can no longer just run around them and hit them from behind. And why would a non-noob character need a reinforced leather armor? Also, how do I defeat a troll? I used to be able just run around and hit it from behind. Now they have a stomp move that counters that.

The troll hide armour you are trying to craft is a bad example of crafting, it needs fixing as you can clearly see however in general the mechanics are fairly manageable (i suggest trying out the mercenary armour blueprint sold from Carl). Also try to see how upgrading works.
With trolls it is much more difficult to take them on especially early on and the old strategy will not work very well.
Here are a few tips just from my own experience:
-try avoid them early on they are best left till chapter 4+ or 3 at the very earliest
-summoning can be very helpful to have the troll focus some attention on it (summon skeleton is pretty good)
- with melee, you can still strafe just not all the way behind them otherwise they counter. Trolls have a small gap in the front on their right side where their punch attack just about goes over the NH. This is the best moment to get a few hits in before you must again strafe clockwise once the troll starts to face the NH for another attack (dont do anti-clockwise as they have a nasty left side slam which will most likely hit followed by another combo). This requires practice but it is def. possible.

Thanks, I'll try.
Another question. Now that I am trying to improve an armor, where can I find 3 skeleton bones without having to fight skeletons? I already have 2 (not sure where I got one of them, but I stole one from Salandril's ship).

which chapter are you in? check vendors first, constantino and ignaz, also in most of the caves near graves, or just buy few fire spells and cook some skelies

Since you said you would like to hear some suggestions. Here are some I thought would be great if implemented. First, I think the city of Khorinis is pretty much "reworked" but what would make it perfect in my eyes would be the city walls Gothic 3/castle in the Valley of Mines style so the NPS as well as player can walk on them. Also Upper Quarter could use of some new buildings especially to the left of the town hall there's lot of unused space. Secondly, I like the mysteries of Gothic 2 but there's one that could be build upon. If you cross the bridge near Akils farm and head towards the tavern. If you turn right after the bandit camp you come across what appears to be burn down village of some woodcutters. Would be quite cool if there was some interesting loot to be found since is quite hard to find or maybe some sort of side quest like find those who ran to the forest and escort them to the city or what not. Lastly, I never play mage in Gothic but my friend told me several times that he finds annoying that you can't wear Xardas' robe like in Gothic 1. So maybe just letting it lying on the floor in his tower in 5th chapter would make some mage mains happy .
Anyway thank your for your work!

Thanks for the suggestions, some of my quick thoughts:
-city walls is a cool suggestion, really cannot promise that though as it would take quite a bit of time
and we are focused of so many other things already. Same with new buildings in upper quater but that one is somewhat more feasible.
- Side quests in general probably won't happen (WITH the exception of some quests for the thieves guild in the future i.e. contracts to steal something). However we can add something there if a good idea comes up for it.
- Haha ya i know alot of people probably want to use those robes, if we do put them in the game it would be somewhere more challenging to get though

I guess hes at the dragonhunters camp:
When you go from Silvio and Bulco back to the river, follow down under the bridge in the cave.
Better say from (old) new camp in ice region back to river/waterfall (the river above castle).
This place is known as "Lurker cave" when i correct remember.

Sleep X amount of time?
Hi,
could someone tell me if you can change the SLEEP option? It is very annoying being forced to guess how many hours I have to sleep till it's morning again. Why did you change that option in the first place? It was very nice to sleep till a specific daytime.
Thanks for any help.

You should be able to see the in-game time when saving or in your questlog. We changed them so if you're playing the survival mode you can actually choose exactly how much time you want to sleep, since it is really important to organize your time

Master Armor
Hm ok, I'm playing without the Survival kit but I can understand why you have it now.
An other Question is: Could you tell me how I could Insert the MASTER ARMOR into the game again? I sold it...and the merchent died and lost all his stuff... Is there a code where I can MARVIN MODE into the game again?

And I do like the new options!...just...could you maybe add "sleep until morning, sleep until midnight" back in with the new options? Just a thought.

First time playing gothic with mods and im absolutely loving it! new locations new weapons skills etc. its awesome you really did a good job.
There is one little (big) flaw for me and thats the min dmg dealt being 25. Im currently near the end of 2nd chapter wearing fully ugpraded
vengardian armor and right now 4 young giant rats are as dangerous as an orc warrior. I get it it's supposed to be harder but this is just really annoying imo. Couldnt you just increase the strength/hp of enemies?

Thats strange, i mean i didn't find it all that difficult the main difficulty i had was fighting multiple orcs/lizardmen but thats how it should be. Well anyway we have addressed the min. damage we will look into perhaps changing that dynamically in-game depending on how difficult that is.
EDIT: i do have a bias in my PT as i have alot of working knowledge of the mod along with notr

Im not saying its difficult, its just frustrating for me. What I love about gothic is that after you grind tons of exp and equip yourself with some fine armor you are able to kill weak enemies without having to worry about anything. I can't do that here no matter what armor Im wearing and since there is not really an efficient way to increase hp other than leveling up it means that Im stuck with having to play carefully every single encounter no matter how far in the game I am. And its not just weaker enemies that are the problem, I was able to defeat bullco and sentenza with a few tries in chapter 1 because of the min dmg which I was never able to before. Same with the demon in xardas tower chapter 2 none dmg taken few tries. Anyway I can't imagine fighting multiple orcs at once with this mod, guess it'll be a ragequit moment for me
